   Well, Barkley road Garage is a prime example why the the stereotypes of garages overcharging and dismissing customers and their concerns exist, in other words ✨️Scam✨️! A year ago I left a 5-star review after my MOT, but this visit completely destroyed my trust. I paid £80 for 2 hours of labour for a wheel bearing/hub replacement and SUPPLIED A BRAND NEW PART MYSELF. They never called to say the car was ready, and dashcam footage shows the car was on the ramp for around 30 minutes, not 2 hours. I was then told by the manager that the job was “definitely done” and even claimed the new part I supplied was “wrong” and had to be ground down , which makes no sense as I had matched and double-checked the part numbers before buying it. Two weeks later the same wheel bearing noise returned. When my dad removed the wheel today, it was obvious the hub fitted was old and worn not the new part I supplied. This means the part was never changed and my new hub was taken, while I was still charged full labour. When we went to confront the manager he said you can't come back after 2 months and demand a refund, I need to get to the bottom of this, come back on the 5th because people are off for the holidays". HE WAS LITERALLY THE PERSON who assured me the work had been done in October. Long Story short- I paid for work that wasn’t carried out, was charged for 2 hours that clearly didn’t happen, and lost a brand-new part in the process :) Extremely disappointed I will not be returning and would strongly advise others to avoid them. A far more professional alternative is Waincliffe MOT & Service Centre Leeds who have genuinely showed me what good service looks like!

   My car had an issue where knocking noise was coming from below. Left my car with them then when I came back I was told that they fitted in new shockers and charged me 350 pound for it, the problem didnt even go away.

   I found our about this garage through a neighbours. My car was not turning over. Mechanics explained fully and honestly what the problem was. I am very happy the the service I got and will be recommend ing this garage to friends. They are a honest and professional business. They explain clearly the problem with the car so you understand fully what work they have done even down to explaining the breakdown of pricing. Very happy with the service. Nothing seems to much trouble Thank you

   One of my friend recommended them . Very professional, honest and quick service. Charges are very reasonable. I travelled 60 miles as no body could fix the fault but they not only diagnosed the fault but also fixed it same day. Highly recommended and very satisfied.
