   In a world where awful customer service has become the norm, its great to see an independent business that really puts the customer first. I had my car serviced a couple of weeks ago and I've just had my MOT done, whilst I waited in their comfortable customer lounge area, with coffee machine, TV and Wifi. Big smiles on arrival, efficient, genuine and friendly service from start to finish. Having been in Hospitality/Hotel management for over 30 years I return to places that offer the best service.    I have been a long standing customer for years at the M.E Thorpe garage and this is my first time visiting this site for my MOT. Absolutely excellent accommodation with a cozy waiting room, drinks such as tea, coffee, soft drinks and water. Modern refurbishment throughout, I have never visited a garage like this before. And the staff are as lovely and honest as always. Knowledgeable and informative which I really appreciate as I know very little about cars and have always been treated with respect. Top notch!

   Got my MOT booked same day I called in. Had a while you wait appointment on Friday eve. Waiting area was lovely, not your usual oily smelly room. A very pleasant atmosphere with comfy chairs Coffee machine, also several tea options (clipper) biscuits and refrigerated soft drinks. Oliver who was dealing with me was very friendly and approachable. Would highly recommend these guys.
