The rooms remind me of custody settings And if you are lucky enough to get a TV that works then it's not too bad. Staff are very helpful and often go out of their way to solve what ever issue u may have.

Absolutely vile place. Was here for 6 weeks with my mum and siblings. We all have bites over us which has caused one of us to have a sever skin infection leading to hospital treatment. Rat traps down the side of beds. Holes in the garden. Police and ambulances here most nights. Druggies doing what they do outside. Our Food being robbed by other residents. Some of the staff are vile to residents intimidating them. Absolutely disgusting place. If I didnβt have to add stars I wouldnβt ! Not suitable for single people let alone familyβs!

I was here with my baby, he now has insect bites on him and nearly ate a rat trap... awful place to be for any family and breaks Almost every human rights there is. Stay away for your own safety and wellbeing, not to mention its full of people who are on drugs or who have just come out of jail. I also saw about 7 rats altogether

Worsted place IV ever stayed at no heating or even hot water insects all over my bed and the smell off the place is vile I couldn't eat in there even as I was speaking to another member of the place a member of staff was very rude to me as she didn't like what I was saying at the price I pay I would expect heating and hot water didn't get any so horrible place overall

Spa Day. Where do I start? On arrival, the staff were friendly and went through the formalities. Changing room and shower. Cleanliness was poor, dusty equipment, hairs in sinks, showers with discarded tampons on the floor, toilets to be desired. Pool - I got hair tangled in my fingers, there was a dark tied mark all around the water level. The floor was full of black bits. Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna was the same. There was tumbleweed like clumps of dust and hair around the floor and debris in the area outside the relaxation room. Used cups and towels left in the relaxation room. Afternoon tea - the area allocated was to be desired. Floor with bits all over including a chip. Refused to sit in that area. The service was very slow, although the staff were pleasant. There seemed to be more care taken of the gardens than the interer. The one positive was the back neck and shoulder massage was good.

We booked a double and a single room. The single room was just a deep window ledge inside the double room with a cutain across it. To climb into it a stepping stool was provided. It was just big enough for a short adult. Had to sleep right next to a window. A disturbed sleep with rain beating against it all night. Room appeared clean. Duvet provided was not adequate for winter. No extra blankets.

Quite a worn-down hotel (with a peculiar smell). The booked single room was very below par. A low ceiling strut causing me to bump my head as I walked to to the window and find it would not close properly; this was why the room was so cold. When asking for the WIFI code, I was informed that the WIFI was out of order for the upstairs rooms that particular day. I suspect that as there were no routers installed upstairs, this is always told to the guests. Fortunately a room upgrade downstairs was offered, much warmer and with WIFI access. Friendly service but a very run-down establishment.

This is most certainly the worst hotel actually no I'll extend that to accommodation I have ever stayed in. I know I shouldn't expect a lot for Β£29 a night but if it were not for the fact that I had prepaid for the hotel over the internet and it was 8pm I would have not bothered and driven the hundred miles home. The room is small, without a toilet or shower, the furniture and dΓ©cor is tatty and fragile. The carpet is downright disgusting and is making me think I'm going to catch scabies tonight. And to top it all off even with the window wide open it still smells like something has died in here. Wilmslow hotel sort your act out this is the 21st century in a first world country!!!
