We stayed one night at Hotel Football in Manchester and had an incredible experience. The location is unbeatable—right next to Old Trafford, perfect if you’re visiting the stadium or the Megastore. A huge thank you to the manager, Mohammed, for taking such great care of us. Even though our stay was short, he helped prepare everything ahead of time and made us feel genuinely welcomed. He also surprised us with a complimentary drink card for the bar and a 10% voucher for the Old Trafford Megastore, which was a really nice touch. Most importantly, I lost my backpack on the train from London to Manchester, and Mohammed truly stepped up—he called the train company, followed up, and did everything he could to help recover it. That kind of support is rare and made a stressful situation so much easier. This is honestly one of the best hotel experiences I’ve had, and it’s exactly why I stay loyal to the Marriott family. Highly recommended!

You can see the full video review on my Youtube channel @travel.stay.explore Stayed for 1 night in the class of 92 room. Hotel lobby is small but staff were nice and professional. No wait when i checked in at 3pm. Lifts were the worst part about the hotel, need updating. Just dirty inside and worn. Room itself was great. Really good size and had great views of Old Trafford. Bed was huge and really comfortable. Tea and coffee making facilities were good and decent selection. As its the class of 92 room then mini bar was stacked with goodies and a nice addition. Likewise the memorabilia was good, thought it could have been better but a novel stay for any man u or football fan. Bathroom was a great size with a bath and separate shower . The shower area didn't have a light in it however which was a bit weird, although it wasn't to dark to shower in. Overall the hotel is nice, showing its age a bit but a decent novel stay for any football fan. Non match day car parking was £15 for 24 hour, which does seem a bit steep! A really nice hotel with a lovely room. The room is clean and the bed was comfortable. The hotel provides towels and soap and shower gel. The bathroom was also very clean and tidy. The biggest feature is the view towards Old Trafford. There is paid parking available from the hotel which is across the road. Definitely a good hotel location if you want to enjoy Old Trafford.

Really nice hotel - well kept - lots of fun football details everywhere. Location is brilliant if you are a Manchester United fan. On Match Day it is quiet expensive but if you come on other days, you are able to find reasonable prices. We will come again!

Great venue, great location, would stay again! ⚽️ We booked the Class of 92 room which is located on the 8th floor and were massive fans of the facilities, cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. The room was genuinely spotless with great decor, robes in the wardrobe alongside complimentary slippers. The bathroom was great, although there were problems with the drainage in terms of it being a bit slow to drain in both the shower and sink, but we were only there for one night and it didn’t impact much at all. The bed was clean alongside the rest of the room with a TV fitted with Sky Sports and BT Sport channels which make perfect viewing in a perfect location. There was also a mini fridge with two beers, two waters, two Vimto’s and some sweets which were great. On the 9th floor, referred to as floor ‘H’ is the rooftop football pitch which was spectacular. We visited on a Sunday evening in mid September so it was quiet and clean with footballs already provided. The views of the Manchester skyline were also superb. There was also a fitness suite in the hotel, which was quaint but had everything you need. By any means it wasn’t perfect for a gym enthusiast but for a casual gymgoer and someone who wants to stay in shape - it’s more than fine. There was water bottles provided with towels and two television screens with all the necessary channels, including Sky and BT. The staff were very friendly and helpful alongside those in the cafe on the ground floor, who would refill your water bottles free of charge to contribute towards the environment and make everything easier for the customer which was fantastic.

Stayed here a few times for work. Rooms are decent, great showers. Service is fair to good. Dining is 3 star. If you're going to Manchester for the football, there is no better location.

Five star review for what it is. We had an excellent stay today. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The place is like a sports bar so don’t book if you’re looking for a very quiet hotel. However, we slept very nice with no interruption or noise. We stayed in the class of 92 room which was fantastic and had a great view of the old Trafford stadium. Gary Neville et al have done a great job and the location is perfect. Ignore all the negative reviews there are always people that you will never satisfy whatever you do. Great price, great location and great hotel!

The best hotel stay ever! Booked a King Stadium view room for my boyfriends birthday and The Football Hotel went above and beyond to make the stay incredible. Friendly staff and they even upgraded our room to The Class Of 92 room which was amazing! Just an incredible weekend and we will definitely be back!

The rooms are so dark when you close the curtains let’s no light in great night sleep. The beds are so comfy and the pillows are just right. The breakfast ingenious idea cook when you order so no waste, I did not eat breakfast but my husband did he said it was delicious 5 stars all the way. The football pitch on the top floor is amazing as the views thank you Hotel Football x
