Nice hotel with friendly staff. The room was very good for the price I paid and there is plenty of parking. The parking is controlled by number plate recognition cameras so there is a requirement to add your registration number to the system to avoid a penalty.

This is an older hotel, but certain parts of it seem to have been refurbished recently. The TV and the bathroom seem relatively new for example. The staff is always friendly, the prices are reasonable and the breakfast buffet is great. This is my favourite hotel to stay at in Manchester, even though it is a bit out of the way. I have stayed here many times and cannot complain at all.

I have come here a few times for conferences and it’s always been excellent as a venue with good food and catering as well. The conference rooms are spacious plus there is free complimentary parking. I will be coming again for other conferences as it’s one of the venues of choice for our educational events.

This hotel is showing its age. The rooms are dated with decor that peeling off the walls and paintwork thay hasn't seen a new coat for a considerable.amount of time. The staff are, ok, but when I mentioned that my hotel room phone was constantly ringing all night all that was said was "are you sure?". The food in the evening was of a poor standard. The waitress asked after I'd decided to leave my table if the meal was ok. No. So I explained what was wrong. As for the prices at the bar. No soft drinks on tap. But 2 cans of sprite £4.40. What a rip-off.

Three of us stayed two nights whilst attending a family event nearby. We found the hotel clean, warm and comfortable, the staff extremely welcoming and very, very helpful. The breakfast was generous and well prepared with a huge selection of fruit, cheeses, cereals and pastries to chose from including nuts and seeds to sprinkle plus jams, honey etc on tap, none of those horrid little polluting plastic containers. The restaurant is bright and airy with comfortable seating and lovely views of the garden. This is a great hotel if you need outdoor space, there are huge lawns and patio areas. We found parking easy though at busier times that may be an issue, it's not huge. We ate in the restaurant one evening and we're pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food and my daughter's need for lacto- and gluten-free catered for. Our room was adequately spacious even with the (very comfy) sofa-bed open for use, when it's folded away it would be a very generous space, great lighting too, the separate bathroom and toilet makes for convenience when sharing, that's rare in a modern hotel. We left a precious item behind and the staff very kindly prepared it for posting back and it arrived safely. It was our first experience of Novotel and we wouldn't hesitate to use this one again and highly recommend it.

My family was looked after really well while we attended a family funeral at the church next door. Novotel provided great rooms for us all, as well as the funeral reception. Nothing was too much trouble and everything worked really well. The staff team is great.

Location is good and staff very nice but when i booked this hotel it said fridge in the room, when we arrived there was none. i told reception and they said no room has fridges yet, so it was false advertisement,i wouldnt of booked it if there wasnt going to be a fridge, then the day we arrived the room wasnt too clean it deffo wasnt hoovered and there was dirty cups in the bathroom that had peoples toothbrush water in them. the following night my son got sick so we asked for the room to be cleaned and when we came back it was spotless so maybe have a word with the person who cleaned it the first time. breakfast selection only ok.

Rooms have been upgraded, absolutely fine. Good temp control. Small, but functional gym on site. Food was good, but it's the friendliness of the staff that really stood out. Not an encounter that didn't make me smile.

To be honest, it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. The staff however were lovely and the food was good for the cost. I suppose it's a great place to stay if you are in business and have a stop over or for a couple of days. If you stay on the lower level note that the room will be darker due to lack of natural light.

Staying over for a work event and had some food for dinner. The service was fantastic. Adam who has only started was so courteous, friendly and really went out of his way to ensure we got what we needed. The girl on the bar Joanne was also really friendly and helpful
