I went into halfords autocentres at Crystal peaks. I was greeted politely by the manager there and asked me my faults. My brakes were noisy. The gent booked me in for a brake checked. The technicians cleaned the brake dust out and now the noise has stopped. Could have charged me for new pads I wouldn't have known, but these guys are honest, that's why I come here. Thank you

Booked my car in for a free repairs check which states β We will inspect the car for any mechanical faults, carry out a road test and recommend any necessary repairs.β Yet upon arrival they donβt do road tests anymore due to insurance and itβs only a visual check and I would have to pay Β£49.99 for a diagnostic test when itβs not an electrical fault. Wasted a holiday day at work for nothing . I would not recommend anyone to use these !

Left my car there at 8.30am for a full 30 point health check. Was told I had to leave it all day to then find out at 16.40pm I couldnt have my car checked because they couldnt fit me in. This was a prepaid booked slot for my health check at 8.30. Firstly, why have a time booking system if you are not then allocated a mechanic to start the job then? and secondly why allow bookings when other jobs are given more importance than other work? Absolutely ridiculous system and shouldn't be allowed to do this. I had to drive to the auto centre very early for this check and had to inconvenience other people to pick me up because of having to leave my car. Then I had to inconvenience people again to take me back to pick my car up and was all for nothing. Why take bookings that can't be fulfilled?

I came here for my MOT and an annual service. As a newly qualified driver, I was slightly apprehensive going to a garage for the first time but the happy and friendly service quickly put me at ease. MOT passed with some advisories. Danny gave me some good feedback and advice for my car, but never made me feel pressured to spend more or make an unnecessary purchase. I'd definitely recommend this place and I'll be coming back here next time I need any work done.

Terrible experience. In a desperate moment we paid for Halfords to come and fix a replacement battery for my partners car. New battery fitted- car absolutely dead. Technician advised we take the car to an auto electric technician (he was adament that it was a broader electrical issue). Took the car to our normal garage and it transpires Halfords fitted a non operational battery! A month later we are still awaiting a refund. Shocking customer service from top to bottom. Feel completely let down during this period of struggle for so many people. Use your local businesses and avoid this shambles...

Called Crystal Peaks Halfords to ask if they could replace an interior heater fan motor. They said yes and quoted me a price. I booked it in for Monday morning at 8 a.m. I waited all day and heard nothing so at 5pm called them. They had been rushed off their feet and hadn't even looked at it. Tuesday came and went and at 3 p.m. I called them again. I was told they had got the part. I call on Wednesday morning and was told they could not do the job because they couldn't remove the non- factory fitted radio. However after picking up the car we noticed the bevel around the radio was cracked and the radio itself had been punctured on the side by possibly a screwdriver. They had also stuck it back in with some kind of adhesive. We contacted the manager Danny, who has denied anyone touched the radio and apparently 'they use black glue' and not clear glue. They accept no responsibility whatsoever. If you value your car, I would advise against using Halfords. We are shocked at the poor service we received from a national company.

Booked my car in for its annual MOT, the whole process was easy. The drop off was quick and easy, just parked in a bay, confirmed my name and plate and left my key. Only took about 40-50 minutes and was notified via phone call that my car passed. Pick up was easy and quick. No damage to car. Staff were friendly. Was sent an email later on about the advisories and how much it would cost if I wanted them doing. Would recommend. Only cost Β£40.
