After spending ages on Google debating whether to buy speakers and fit them myself, and struggling to find anyone local who actually supplies and fits car audio, I finally came across Source Sounds. They had loads of recent positive reviews and looked good everywhere I checked, so I thought I’d give them a go. I gave them a ring to ask about prices and get some advice for my car. Lee answered the call and was really helpful, he explained the process clearly, made some good recommendations and gave me a fair price including fitting. A couple of hours later I called back to book in and leave a deposit. They managed to fit me in just a few days later which worked perfectly for me. I dropped the car off at 8am and it was ready by lunchtime. The guy who did the work talked me through what they had done, showed me the setup and even registered the warranty for me. Thanks as well to Paul who was there when I collected the car, he explained a few extra things they offer and was a genuinely nice guy to chat with. I left feeling really happy with the whole experience, great service, fair price and quality work. I would definitely recommend Source Sounds if you are looking to get car audio done properly.
After a very unhappy experience at the store beginning with H, we cannot praise Paul and staff at source sounds enough. From our first visit where Paul spent an hour with us explaining all our options and giving us a written quote to the day we had our radio fitted expertly by Nathan we couldn’t be more pleased. When the radio was fitted everything was explained to us in detail, Nathan even set us some DAB stations up and also connected the mobile to Bluetooth. All in all an excellent service well done Source Sounds we will be recommending you to all our family and friends.
Ok this is my second review but apparently the only way to do this is edit your first on Google? I have just had my BMW Z4 dragged for the Stone Age to the present. This is a thank you to Paul & Tom who did a cracking job. From the initial idea being an install to a custom build. A fantastic job of the speaker installation. The tweeter and the custom sub enclosure are a work of art. I have known Paul for some time now and this company always do an outstanding job. The sound is now right up there with the best. This team is amazing! They provided me with excellent service/coaching on both my Audi and Skoda. Hopefully in near future I will contact them for sound advice. While definitely on the pricier side, the end quality of the work was impeccable. They fitted a nice new double-din radio to my old Honda Jazz in July and ever since I've been much happier with music, native Bluetooth and easy control.
We’ve recently bought two ford transit customs and need the extra security adding to them, I phoned source sounds and explained to Paul what we was after he went trough our options and explained every thing in detail. Once the install was carried out we had a little teething problem Chris stayed late and sorted it out straight away. These guys are good at what they do and very knowledgable, the attention to detail is unreal. After the install they went trough the alarm system in detail and was more than happy to answer any questions. Top service guys keep up the good work sure we will be back again.
I recently decided the sound system in my car just wasn’t good enough, but I wanted an installer who could give me a better quality sound rather than just loads of bass. After hearing their demo cars at the North West Audio show (a high-end home audio show) I settled on Source Sounds and following a detailed discussion of my needs we decided I should have a combination of Hertz and Audison components. I also wanted the car to look stock after installation and not to invalidate the manufacturers five year warranty (my car is only a month old). Installation took two days and I could not be happier. To say the sound quality is better is a vast understatement - it is literally transformed. It has gone from sounding like a ‘ghetto blaster’ to sounding like home separates! Poorly recorded music (early punk for example) sounds much better and a lot of fun - well recorded music sounds simply astonishing! I honestly can’t praise the blokes at Source Sounds highly enough. No matter what the level of stock system you have in your car (and I’ve heard most of them), Source Sounds can improve on it.
