   I had a great experience living at Uncle Manchester. The location is excellent — just a short walk to Piccadilly Traun Station and the city centre. On-site parking was affordable and easy to organise. It’s also pet-friendly, which is not always easy to find when renting in the city. The team here are outstanding — always friendly, accommodating and incredibly helpful. They were so accommodating in responding quickly to any queries or requests I had. Overall, it’s a great place to live, and I would recommend it.

   I’ve really liked living here- management team is very friendly and responsive. The building is well-maintained, clean, and feels very safe. The location is also a huge plus—close to trams and the train station. I’d recommend it to anyone new to Manchester!

   Overall, this is a fine place to live. The location is great - especially if you're going to UofM or MMU, and the staff were, for the most part, wonderful. However, for the premium I paid here there were some serious issues. Firstly, there is no intercom system so every time someone came to visit me I had to go down and pick me up, which I admit is not the biggest trial in the world. Secondly, the flat doors are self locking, and because there are no staff after 6 or on Sundays, you have to call an "emergency" number. This is all good in theory but the people on the "emergency" line took 20 minutes to pick up the phone and then couldn't give me a timeframe as to when they would be able to help me. This was late on a Sunday evening and time was of the essence. Thirdly, the furnishings - though aesthetically pleasing, are terrible quality. Everything was falling apart by the time I left including the wardrobe and the coffee table and that was not through misuse. Finally, they do not give you an choice of which electricity provider to go with, so, even though I lived in a single occupant flat and never used the heating I was paying £70 a month rent and still have £600 pound balance to pay with Octopus energy. All in all, if location is your main priority then sure then uncle is a an okay choice. However, in my opinion it is worth living 10 minutes outside of the city to have quality furnishings, modern appliances, and an electricity provider that won't extort you for basic electricity use.

   After almost 3 years we have to say goodbye to our favourite Uncle... Uncle Manchester is an amazing place to live not only because the amazing staff that works here, also because of the perfect location, nice building infrastructure, Orient House.... Andrew and all his team are always there, helping you with any issue or concern you might have. We would definitely recommend Uncle Manchester to our friends if they want to live in Manchester.

   I have only positive things to say about my experience at UNCLE Manchester! From the moment I arrived on my move-in date, I was greeted by the building manager Andrew and his team who made me feel right at home and were available for any questions I had. The building is beautiful, well-maintained, the staff are always friendly and helpful, and the location is perfect for getting around the city. I highly recommend UNCLE Manchester as a place to settle into!

   My girlfriend and I lived at Uncle Manchester for a total of 8 months and can only recommend it. The fully furnished flat made it really easy to move in and we loved the spacious and modern kitchen. Andrew and his team were incredibly nice and helpful. Unfortunately, due to personal and professional changes, we had to move out of the flat again 4 months before the end of the contract. Uncle was very accommodating here, which saved us a lot of worry and money.

   I’ve been living with uncle for two years and am thinking to stay here for the next year, and I would definitely recommend this place where have friendly staffs to take care of parcels, meters, furnitures etc. Their positivity and smiles can really make your day. The building is in a perfect areas of in city center for both university students and people who work. The gym, Yoga room and art room meet people’s daily leisure requirement and nice pubs, clubs and restaurants just near by. I have a wonderful experience with UNCLE. Every time I travelled back from other place, I feel like home.

   I lived in Orient house when I am just arrived in Manchester, at first, I chose here because of the excellent position, you can walk to anywhere you want in 5 minutes, including the JD gym, the train station, city center, even my lab office. with the time passes. I get to know all of the staff in this building, Andrew, Rosalie, Irene, Simon, Chen, and Neil, they are very kind people and really helpful when you met difficulties. They let me feel about living home from another country. I am really appreciated what they did and I will choose to stay here until I finished my Ph.D. career.
