Easy application for finance quick response from lenders. Got the car within a week. Car was in great condition no problems with John or any other staff members. Would highly recommend them
Absolutely shocking process from start to finish. Chose a car and sorted finance then got told car has been sold so sorted another one out. This car had a private plate on which I was assured would be taken off the car (proof in text messages). The car got delivered when me or my partner was at work with no message to say what time or that the car was on the way to be delivered. The private plate was still on the car. The private plate is worth absolutely nothing. It looks like a standard number plate! Therefore worth nothing. Trying to tell me it’s worth £400 and acting like they did me a favour leaving it on the car yet I already had asked for it to be taken off. Poor communication from the man I was dealing with. Also got told car would have had a service and absolutely no evidence of this and even taking it to a garage myself where they’ve confirmed it’s had no service done on it. All these people care about is money and conning you out of it. 3 weeks later (today) and still no logbook. I’ve called dvla and they have no record of any transfer to my name being done online yet I received a text message to assure me this was done online. I was left with no documents either so the new keepers green slip I didn’t have. I would never wish this upon on anyone so avoid at all costs.
Purchased a car in finance from these, had a problem in the first 5 months of having the vehicle which they fixed but made me drive 45 mins to them TWICE with engine light on and my car cutting out as they wouldn’t help me get my car to them….one year later taken it for mot and its failed on the colourful flashing fog lights and the tinted rear headlights which were already on the car at time of purchase, for the garage to tell me if I get pullled with these lights I will get a £100+ fine and also points on my licence!!!!!! Also mentioned about the noisy exhaust too which it came with…. Messaged about this and no reply. Very poor customer service I do not recommend.
Lovely seller, until I called after I had purchased the car to query a couple of minor defects, all things that as a buyer I should have noticed at the time, and not massive issues, however after I had spoken to John regarding this, he blocked me, and my husband, and a friend, after me having called him on their phones! These small problems have been resolved at our cost, and that’s fair enough as I didn’t notice them prior to buying. The car we bought was a great little car with no big issues, but my problem lies with the blocking of our numbers. I would be very wary of buying from this seller, as if there had been a major problem with the car, I am almost certain that we would’ve had to go through trading standards and small claims to get our money back. It will be interesting to see his reaction to this review, as he seems to have retaliated quite aggressively to any previous negative reviews. Not very professional! Re the owners response, as I predicted, this is a variation on the actual truth, but I’ll leave that to his conscience and let potential buyers draw their own conclusions!
Brought my car with him sent him a message , and we starting sorting out everything i got accepted quick he gave me some car options I’m extremely happy with my car no problems what so ever , great sound guy! Will buy my next car here and recommend to anyone , thanks dean Javier
I bought a Honda Civic from John at the weekend. The car was a little bit over budget but he did some maths whilst I had a test drive and we struck a deal. He is a genuine, down to earth bloke with, what is absolutely unheard of in car salesmen...morals!! He really did look after me. He offered to come and pick us up if we ran out of petrol (it was running low after the test drive) and said if we ran out to ring him and he will go to the petrol station and fill up a Jerry cab for me. He wasn’t pushy at all, he was honest and open throughout and this is what made me decide to buy the car. Moving onto the car - it is a 2003 Honda Civic, it was well looked after and had almost a full service history. It was definitely something I was looking for, and he let me try the buggy in the boot for size and the car seat for my 8 month old son. He has given me a 30 day warranty on all major faults like engine, gearbox etc which really did give me the confidence to buy from him. I looked at John’s reviews beforehand and they are impeccable. I have never seen someone with almost 30 5* reviews and not a single one with any less. Others I looked at may have been cheaper at the time but the reviews and mixed and has a lot 1* / 2* reviews from people they have ripped off. John has none of these which really did hit home as to how trustworthy and genuine he is. I will 100% come back to John again when I am due an upgrade!
