   John has been our family mechanic for the past couple of years now, looking after multiple cars that we have had and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my cars. From services, sensors, breaks and pads changing, clutches and my gearbox blowing his service and his work has always been 10/10 and my car always drives like an absolute dream after John has worked on it. Highly recommend him and the garage to everyone!!!

   Just wanted to say a massive thank you to the staff at Percy Street Motors. My exhaust back box fell off and a friend of mine tied it up and recommended them for a booking to sort it out. Although late notice in less than 24 hours the following day I was back on the road with a new exhaust and quiet as it should be. Highly recommend.

   Crash peoples cars and doesn’t pay for the damage. I went here to have my Mercedes corroded brake pipes sorted. I left it over night as he didn’t fix the day I dropped it off, despite dropping off it the morning. Price was expensive as the parts didn’t cost much. Worked it out after parts he charged me £60 per hour for 4 hours work. Does it take 4 hours not sure. I picked it up following day and having a white car it’s noticeable that it’s covered in mud and oil. There’s a chip and a scrape on my bumper. Tyre warning came up on my dash board, tyres are low on air. I mention this to him and he denied it. Promised to fix but every time you rang to arrange for the damage to be repaired he fob you off and then he blame me for doing the damage. He has already had another review for the same complaint that they had been driving their car and damaged it.

   I went to this garage because it's close to my work so very convenient and has so many good reviews so I was planning to use for all my car servicing and repairs in future. I will now have to think again after receiving very poor customer service. I first took my car in to be looked at because it was making loud creaking noises a couple of weeks before a long trip to Cornwall so wanted the suspension and brakes checking to make sure they were safe. The car came back having been inspected and told everything was ok but suspension bushes had been treated with silicone spray and to see how it went (I don't even know for sure if the brakes were even checked at all). After three days the creaking started again so I phoned back to try and get the suspension bushes replaced. The garage now couldn't fit me in before my long journey so I had to go on holiday enduring a very creaky sounding car which was unnerving to my partner as it was so bad sometimes she would think the wheels were about to drop off even though the car is only three years old. When I returned from my trip I phoned the garage but they couldn't fit me in until the following week. The creaking does not happen all the time and is much much worse after a long motorway drive so I arranged with Danny that I would go for a long drive before bringing the car in a week later to make sure the problem was clearly identifiable and that someone would be available to assess the problem as soon as I arrived while it was still making the noise. On the morning of my booking I drove for approx. 80 miles to make sure the problem was well and truly audible and before arriving for my appointment I tried phoning to check someone was there and ready to go for a short drive to hear the noise but nobody answered the phone despite me calling eight times. In the end I drove to the garage and parked up and went in and found that the person I had agreed the whole process with (Danny) was not there and nobody else seemed to be aware of it. A mechanic agreed to go with me for a short drive but in the time the car had been parked up the creaking had quietened down. The only suggestion by the mechanic was to try replacing parts and see if it solved it. This is exactly the opposite of what I had agreed with Danny a month earlier. The mechanic didn't think there was any point me leaving the car with them that day so I have just wasted two hours and about two gallons of petrol driving around as agreed to help identify the problem only to be let down again. I have now tried twice to get the car diagnosed and repaired here but wish I had just gone elsewhere.
