Wonderful dentist, I have been going here for that many years I cannot remember how long. Always pleasant and helpful my dentist is amazing easy to talk too, puts you at ease, explains the treatment clearly. Can't recommend enough.
We had an upsetting experience but finally it was sorted. No one seemed to be worried by it, but it seemed that you had no appointment for 2 years for us & we come once a year if all is fine. When Paul made the appointment the receptionist rang us back to say she had given him 1 hour to mend his front tooth. We were kept waiting until finally Pauls tooth was repaired. It cost us£40 plus for Taxi & nobody apologised in fact we were made to feel it was our fault.

I've been using this dental practice for over 30 years. It's always provided excellent treatment with no unwarranted pressure to undergo anything other than is necessary, although the options are available. I've always been very pleased with the treatments I have received, and the curtious manner of the staff. The practice is always clean and fresh, with a calming ambience. My only very slight criticism would be that appointments are usually running a little late.
I’ve been attending this surgery since I was a child and always saw Ron Eades. I’ve been going to Matthew Lloyd for around 10 years now I think and quite honestly he is fantastic! Just like Ron he is gentle and patient. He always explains everything thoroughly and puts the whole family at ease. He’s great with our children, from our toddler through to the teenagers! The reception staff are also very friendly and helpful.
I arrived early, was greeted by very pleasant friendly staff, and was seated in the light and airy waiting room, whilst the dentist was ready to see me. The patient who went in to see the dentist before me was in there slightly longer than anticipated so my appointment was about 5 minutes late. I've absolutely no problems with that. Going into the examination room I received a very warm welcome from the dental surgeon Mr Lane who took the time to ask how I was. The examination of my teeth and gums was thorough and pain free. My teeth were cleaned and x-rayed with a minimum of fuss. Mr Lane and the rest of the staff were all very calm and helpful. Ideal if your a person who has some fear of dental treatment. I cannot recommend this surgery high enough... I'm extremely pleased to be on their books. Long may it continue.
Never had work done but check ups are good. Will comment on 30th Jan 23 when I have a filling. Well had the filling done despite me disliking dentists and normally have to be knocked out, I didn't feel a thing absolutely fantastic. Also had a clean again all fine. It's restored my faith in dentists outstanding service and caring people.
I am really pleased that I attended today as quite often recently illness has prevented this. The waiting room was tidy and quiet. Mrs Sturmey was very kind and ascertained that I would be able to cope with the treatment and explained it to me. The Receptionist also took great care in finding some further appointments. I would definitely recommend this practise.
Joined Kirkgate after having a poor service from a previous dentist. All the staff are so friendly, helpful and understanding. My Dentist, Jonathan and I have a good understanding of my dental needs and the way forward with it. Would highly recommend Kirkgate to anyone who needs a dentist.
