   Positive: The garage had a few free slots available the next day, which was very convenient. Also, it's local, which made dropping the car off easy. Friends recommended it too. Negative: The customer service was disappointing. When I arrived to drop off the car, the man at the desk was on the phone and didn’t ask me for any details — just took the keys. When I came to collect the car, I was simply told “all good,” with no explanation or MOT summary. After the MOT, I discovered that the mechanism for the electric wing mirror was broken. I visited the garage the next morning and pointed this out, but the staff immediately denied responsibility. They claimed the mirrors opened when unlocking the car, which isn't the case with my vehicle — you have to manually rotate a knob with the power on. Their attitude was very defensive and dismissive, especially towards me as a female customer. All I got is “It’s sod’s law,” without even offering to take a look or expressing any sympathy. Overall, I felt patronised and unheard.

   We were driving down the M1 from North Yorkshire to Devon when a horrible constant scraping sound came from the bottom of our car.  We pulled off the motorway and were fortunate enough to come across this amazing garage.  They investigated, found the problem and solved it.  We were back on our way 20 mins after pulling in.  So helpful, so efficient and friendly.  Can't thank them enough for helping us out. Wish we lived nearer so we could give them more custom but the best we can do is highly recommend you use this garage if you can.

   Been going here for years. Honest, reliable and straight talking with non of the fairy story's you get elsewhere. I've been working on cars, motorcycles, industrial plant for forty years and can tell when something's right or not and these guys are definitely on the same page as me. If your car fails it's test at this station, then it deserves to. Likewise, if it passes. I cannot fault them and fully recommend taking your car next time it's due!
