   I’ve needed a fair bit of dentistry work over the past 2 months… Lewis and his team have been great and really accommodating, short notice appointments, going above and beyond to make me feel at ease, and not being satisfied until they had tended to every detail. They’re professional, honest, and realistic… but still managed to achieve complicated procedures to ensure all of my issues are now resolved. Keep up the passion and good work.

   Had numerous treatments at Advance Dental Care practice, the most recent being two upper back molar implants. I am quite an anxious patient and D Lewis Vernon Butler ensures that you are made to feel relaxed, comfortable and pain free, taking time to explain all procedures in detail and the health benefits regarding said procedures. The surgery has state of the art equipment and a relaxing reception area with refreshments whilst awaiting your appointment. All staff are welcoming, polite and friendly which makes you feel at ease. Regarding my recent implants..... I was quite nervous and unsure initially, but Dr Lewis explained all the health benefits for the longevity of my teeth, providing me with detailed information so I was able to make an informed choice. The whole process from start to finish was painfree and a better experience than having a filling. What was I worrying about?!!! So glad I had them done, dont hesitate in joining this practice, I would definately recommend.

   Outstanding from start to finish. I unfortunately had to book an emergency appointment recently due to being in toothache for quite some time. Poppy, her assistants, the ladies on reception – absolutely everyone I encountered during my visit could not have done more to help me feel at ease from the moment I walked in. I will forever be grateful for such a positive experience after having such crippling anxiety about going to the dentist. Poppy performed an extraction at that very appointment with incredible professionalism. Having only had fillings before, I was terrified at the thought of an extraction, but both Poppy and her assistant truly helped put my mind at ease and made the entire process feel effortless, pain-free, and quick, with zero judgement. I was genuinely shocked when she raised the chair and told me it was finished. I saw other reviews saying the same, but I didn’t believe it… I do now! I even received a follow-up call the morning after to check how I was and to ask if I had any questions or concerns, which I very much appreciated.I will definitely be a returning customer and look forward to starting this new chapter.    I’ve always been extremely nervous about visiting the dentist, but from the moment Lauren answered my initial call, everything changed. She was so kind, patient, and genuinely understanding of how anxious I felt. Her reassurance is the reason I was even able to make my first appointment. I can’t thank Poppy, Sophie, and all the dental nurses enough. They have all made me feel comfortable, relaxed, and completely at ease — and even laugh! Their professionalism and support made me realise I had nothing to be nervous about after all. Every treatment I’ve had has been comfortable and completely pain-free. Thank you all so much for turning something I used to fear into such a positive experience. I’m genuinely grateful for the care, kindness, and confidence you’ve given me.

   If you are from the Wakefield area or even if you are not, if you are looking for a world class dentist with a passion for customer needs, then take a few minutes to read this review. I met Dr Lewis Butler for the first time back in late 2023 after making an online inquiry, which is when my journey with Advance Dental Care began. Having had pretty negative experiences with both NHS and private dentists in the past and a general fear of dental work, especially oral needles, I saw Lewis for the first time and instantly knew that I could put trust in his expertise and experience. A passionate and talented dentist, who puts customers needs before anything else and made me feel at ease throughout my journey with them, not just during treatment but now providing excellent, long term aftercare. After having some general work done, Lewis educated me on the poor overall condition of my teeth and mouth as a whole and gave me some long term options for treatment, all of which were expensive (as you can imagine for any major dental work via a private dentist). I opted for complete mouth rehabilitation, the most expensive and arduous of the options available to me. I put full faith in Lewis and Advance Dental Care and saw this as a long term investment in my oral health. Treatments began in January 2025 and all work is now completed and I could not be happier with the final results and the care I've been shown along the way. Lewis and his talented team at Advance Dental Care have been amazing. Lewis has been available to me at all hours of the day, even if just for advice or peace of mind regarding my teeth. When I had temporary teeth in during the treatment process, when any issues did arise they were dealt with extremely quickly and I constantly felt like everyone involved couldn't do enough for me. All staff members I have dealt with at any point throughout my journey have been professional and have genuinely felt valued as a customer and that my needs are put first. Shout outs to Donna (Dental Nurse) who was nothing but pleasant during all my appointments and Lauren on front-of-house, always checked in with me after my treatments and had great communications via email for the most part, which was always best for me with my busy schedule. These small details go a long way. Thank you to Lewis and the team at Advanced Dental Care, you've restored my smile and my faith in dentists as a whole. Hopefully you won't see me too much now going forwards but I certainly will be back and wouldn't hesitate in recommending you to anyone.

   Advanced Dental Care has to be the best dentist I've ever been to. I've never had a good experience with dentists but it was a totally different situation here. I had an initial chat and check up with Lewis who was very empathetic about my experiences with NHS dentists as a child and talked me though his process and experience which really did put me at ease. Everyone at Advanced Dental Care are very caring, pleasant and always happy to see you. After having an extraction(which was super quick and honestly painless) it was followed up by a call to check how I've been. Definitely a complete difference in service compared to what I got previously at a different non private dentist. I would recommend Advanced Dental Care to anyone in need of dentistry

   I hadn't been to the dentist in six years so was apprehensive of being lectured or judged, but the team was really nice and helpful! I've never felt so relaxed at a dentist before. I had to have a lot of work done but was given a clear plan and the cost details beforehand, and explained all the stages clearly. The hygienist was also incredibly helpful, giving me valuable tips on how to clean and look after my teeth more efficiently. I highly recommend this place, and I've already recommended them to my sister and husband!

   My husband and I started attending Advanced dental care after our dentist closed down during covid. I am a very nervous patient, to the point of overwhelming anxiety at even entering the building, the team here have been amazing! In a few months we have not only had our teeth and oral health brought upto date, but I am now able to go to the dentist alone. They have been beyond understanding and have shown us a different side to dentistry. We honestly can't thank everyone here enough. I think I'll always have a little anxiety due to past experiences, but we feel really comfortable here. Exceptional staff!

   Absolutely brilliant. Highly recommend!! On my first visit to Advanced Dental Care I was warmly welcomed by the team. Great facilities and the staff instantly put me at ease. Lewis came up with a plan for my treatment and finishing this today, I can hand on heart say it's the best experience I have ever had. In the past I have found dentists quite traumatic, this was the opposite - I didn't even feel the numbing injection I had whilst getting a filling!! All my questions have been answered, they have been absolutely wonderful at fitting me in around my very strange work life schedule and in a way the whole experience has been relaxing (I never thought I would say that about any dentist)! I finally have a dentist that I can trust and will continue to visit Lewis and his amazing team - thank you all!
