   Took my car to several places beforehand for the problem to be misdiagnosed and charged for incorrect parts and poor labour, finally found a place that actually cared to take the time to diagnose correctly, go above and beyond to fix the issue and with great communication constantly.    A pleasant and speedy service at a good price. Simon arrived punctually and prepared with the required part (auxiliary drive belt). After the work was completed he pointed out the reason for the belt failure and recommended a garage for repairs. He even wrote down his advice so I wouldn’t forget it!    After being told by a breakdown mechanic that my alternator needed changing at a big cost, I contacted Simon from SDS Mechanics and he managed to diagnose that the alternator did not need replacing, but a clean up! which lowered the cost by two thirds. He was honest and reassuring and prompt in his response. This is the first time I have used a mobile mechanic and I can honestly say I will do so again in the future rather than going to a garage.
