Ordered an item last week for an in-store collection,arrived at the store after receiving the e-mail to say its ready only to be told sorry your item has been given to someone and there are no more available in-store or online to order in.
Told I could pick my purchase up after 10AM today after ordering yesterday. Now, I've been told to expect an email with the pick-up time. If it wasn't going to be ready, why lie about it? So, yeah. Order in advance, it's still delayed. Argos can't check their own stock apparently.
Absolutely fantastic service!!! I bought a heating pad from Argos in Telford yesterday. It didn’t work and I lost my receipt. The two wonderful ladies that helped me this morning, were able to find my order and replace the defective heating pad very quickly. I cannot say enough about how happy I was with their service!!!
Ordered wireless mouse online. Made a purposeful journey to collect it only to find that the USB connector was missing. Knowing that I would be unable to return it for a while, I tried to speak to someone in the store to explain. After a very frustrating 10 minutes with the usual robot, I was cut off. Trying again, I eventually spoke to someone who was nowhere near the UK never mind the store I was after. When are companies going to realise that this level of poor service only makes things worse. It is false economy on their part!
Awful customer service. I placed an order for an item online for the only reason it said I could collect right away. However when I ordered it showed up saying I couldn’t collect until next day. I rang up and tried to discuss this after waiting on hold for 20 minutes, the woman who answered the phone was extremely abrupt and kept saying she couldn’t do anything about it. I then cancelled my order myself and now I’m -£150 just two days before Christmas and the refund may take up to 7 days. Shambles.
Ordered online, picked it up and set it up only to see it's been clearly broken. It looks like someone has literally punched the screen on the top left corner of the TV. Never ordering from them again, you would think they would check the condition before letting us pick it up.
Bought a Toby 3 seater recliner from Argos wrexham staff were fantastic very pleased with it so comfy really value for money thats why I allways buy Argos very trustworthy
Do not order online, it can not be trusted. Ordered my item for click and collect same day. Wrexham was the store that said I could do this. Paid for my item, to get told I will now need to wait until Tuesday. The website still says if I order now I could pick up same day. This is not the first time either!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Staff shouting at customers to stand back from the counter when already standing on the marked spot. Some lovely members of staff doing really good job but some staff behind counter very rude and condescending. Why do some people think that it’s exceptable to speak to others in this way due to Covid. They dont deserve to be serving the public. When there are enough people with out jobs to be doing it it a descent polite manor
I'm absolutely appalled by the way a good friend of mine was treated today at your store. She has hidden disabilities and it must have been so difficult for her to ask for a lanyard. To be questioned weather she has these disabilities and qualifies for one is totally unprofessional to say the least. Are your staff medically trained? Do they even know what a lanyard is actually for? Why on earth are you putting staff on to assist with giving these out who have no clue whatsoever what certain disabilities are? Not impressed at all. You've really upset her. Well done, brilliant staff training
