   Ross is lovely dentist who goes out of his way to get to know his patients and their needs. I have had 2 implants by him over the last few years and I felt confident in the treatment plans that were forwarded to me both times. Ross even took his time explaining the procedure to my daughter who is a 3rd year dentist student! All the staff are lovely, including the receptionist and dental nurses.

   My thoughts come in 2 parts: the first on a personal level and the second as an observer of my wife’s treatment. The first is pretty run of the mill in many ways. I have regular reviews of the state of my teeth, gums & tongue as well as more regular Hygenist contacts. I’m treated with courtesy and informatively. Touch wood, I have had a good number of years of stable mouth & teeth hygiene. More impressive is the experience of my wife. Late one Friday afternoon, heading into the weekend, she tripped but was unable to stop the fall resulting in a ‘face plant’ that broke one of her front teeth. After a little delay, because the dentist was treating another patient, we were called back & told to present ourselves asap. That was at 4pm. We didn’t emerge until nearly 3 hours later (7pm on a Friday) by which time bleeding had been stopped, X-rays had been taken, the remains of a broken tooth removed, an implant inserted jaw bone, a temporary cap applied, drugs administered and a very shocked patient calmed and more confident as to how things (and looks) would progress. Treatment is still ongoing but the prognosis is good. My thanks go to both the dentist and the practice staff generally.

   I went to several so called professional and established dental surgeries only to find they were after one thing.. my money, they didn't really care about me. That is until I found Gunn Dental practice. I needed serious dental work due to neglect from my previous dentist, I also needed someone I could trust. From the very first meeting I could tell Ross cared about me as a person, I finally felt like I was in the best possible hands. I felt so relieved and emotional at the same time. They are so professional and efficient, everything is explained clearly. If you want a dental practice to care for you as a person and treat you as an individual, then this is the place for you.    Ross Gunn is the best dentist I have ever been treated by. Not cheap, but definitely the best. I have been under his care for 10 years and I've never been in any pain or discomfort. He has a very pleasant and relaxed manner. The team of hygienists are excellent too.

   I was referred to Ross by my dentist for his specialist knowledge and expertise in dealing with my particular dental issues and health concerns. Like most people a visit to the dentist isn't something I relish but Ross was compassionate and reassuring and was able to adapt procedures to my specific needs ensuring I was comfortable and safe at all times.    We moved into Bramhope in 2019 and after a few months of travelling back to my old dentist, I decided to move to a local dentist. I looked at the reviews of various practices and Gunn Dental stood out from the rest. I first visited when I was in some considerable pain with a back molar. I got a speedy appointment with Ross who quickly put me at ease with his relaxed manner and witty comments. The tooth was cracked and was subsequently removed and replaced with an implant which I'm delighted with. Ross and his team have been brilliant throughout my treatment. He takes time to explain what he's doing and I've never felt nervous or uncomfortable. I can't praise him enough and have no hesitation in recommending the practice to anyone looking for a dentist.
