   Had a great experience here at Simon Thornley. I've had many, many bad experiences from all kinds of barber shops around Birmingham for a good few years, but yesterday's visit has left me feeling so happy! Simon is great at what he does. He's very knowledgeable and also was considerate to my needs. I felt comfortable the moment I entered the salon. The area is very clean and well maintained. Nice and bright with good comfortable chairs to sit on. It's been a long time since I could say I am happy with my haircut and I'm glad that I now have somewhere I can trust for (hopefully) years to come.

   Went for a blow dry and came out with extremely damaged hair. Avoid this salon at all costs. Simon ( the owner) left my hair in such a state that I had to go home and sort my hair out for my evening out myself. He refused to use straighteners on my hair even though that's completely normal and said he wasn't capable of doing it which is crazy for somewhere which calls themself a professional salon. When asking for some product in my hair Simon also refused. Terrible customer service. He was also an extremely rude man. Honestly if you don't want to leave with your hair damaged and worse than when you went it then avoid this salon

   Decided to call up this salon after being recommended by a few people and I am so glad I did… I was looking for a new salon after disastrous highlight job previously. Salon was a lovely atmosphere. I was bit apprehensive about getting highlights again but I showed Simon pictures of what I wanted to achieve and he made me feel at ease and talked me through what we were going to do and I am in love with my hair. He did exactly what I wanted and more! Super creative and talented. Simon is absolutely fantastic, what a nice guy too! Definitely recommend this place, my new salon for sure.

   What a lovely salon! Lovely atmosphere, lovely coffee and great staff! I had my hair done by Chad on Thursday and I couldn’t be happier. He listened to exactly what I wanted and delivered it! My hair feel amazing and looks so healthy! Thank you Chad and all the team at Simon Thornley hair design, I will definitely be back!!

   I've had nothing but great experiences at this salon, every time I go I always get a really warm welcome, asked if I would like anything to drink and they always take their time listening to what I would like and giving me great advice. The first time I went to Simon Thornley Hair Design I had trusted someone else to dye my hair just out of a box dye and it didn't turn out well. I phoned the salon and they managed to squeeze me in and did a fantastic job sorting it out and I won't go anywhere else now. I would definitely recommend this salon, 5 star service!!

   I have been having my hair done by Simon for more than ten years and I can honestly say that he is a very good hairdresser. I have had several styles, including colour and highlighting and all have been excellent. The newly refurbished salon is attractive and in a very convenient location and the atmosphere is always friendly and welcoming.
