Ive been using phoenix for years because they are competitive and fair. I love that they always talk me through the work my car needs without all the usual mechanic jargon! Never had any issues with the quality of work and would highly recommend to anyone.
Another excellent job from Phoenix Motor Co. A nice summer performance refresh on the Porsche. New Bilstein shocks, sport springs, High carbon drilled disks and sensors all around. great value and a pleasure to deal with.
I’ve been meaning to write this review for a very long time, but i have been putting it off due to me thinking i should maybe give them a chance. I was wrong. I took my Volkswagen for an injector change at this garage, i was originally quoted £60-£90 for this as i supplied the injectors. Phoenix motor co told me that this job should take 3-4hrs and will be done the same day. I dropped the car off at 8am. I gave this garage a call at dinner time, was told the car would be completed and ready for 4pm. Fast forward to 4pm, guess what wasn’t completed? I went the whole weekend without a car, returned on monday evening, my car still wasn’t done. This job took phoenix motor co 12 days to complete, and in the end, the car still wasn’t fixed! And then they tried to charge me £300! I drove home to find that my car hadn’t been put back together properly, many parts missing, pipe clamps broken, engine cable/hose management looked as if a 5 year old had pieced it back together. i immediately called back, they had the car recovered from my home with 13 different fault codes, i dropped the car off with them initially with 1. Phoenix “fixed” my car, until the moment i got in it, still just as many fault codes, except vacuum pipes were taped back together with shoddy electrical tape. I took this to my local mechanic, who i trust, and he informed me of MORE issues that had been caused by this company. My fuel injector rail had been snapped, plugs broken, my mass air flow sensor wasn’t even attached when phoenix gave it back! After many arguments and issues with phoenix, i was finally re-embursed for the money i had spent with them, and my QUALIFIED mechanic. Now, just over 2 months later, i am STILL finding issues that was caused by phoenix, my car, since they have had it, often misfires, has vacuum leaks etc. I’m not exactly sure what they have done to my car, but AVOID THIS GARAGE LIKE THE PLAUGE!
