I honestly cannot praise Harvey Clough garage more highly. Over the August bank holiday our car broke down on our forecourt an hour before we were due to leave to catch a ferry from Liverpool. We rang the garage at 7am to leave a voicemail for an urgent call back when they opened but they answered the call and within 30 minutes they were at our front door - they were able to move the car so we could switch cars and we made it to the ferry with minutes to spare. Whilst we were away they collected our car and sorted out the faults before we returned. Customer service was excellent t and we will 100% be using them again for all our routine car care. Thanks again!
Excellent service. Had my MOT done here the last 2 years and really efficient service. They even picked the car up from my house and dropped it back off again once it was finished as I live locally. Lovely guys, very friendly on the phone and in person.
Saved my bacon! I was on a break in Sheffield back in March and broke down so couldn't get home. These guys towed me back for very little expense and replaced my alternator, which is still working great today! Great service and reasonably priced.

I'm really disappointed to be leaving a 3-star review when I'd heard such good things about this garage. My indicator was broken and the garage phoned me to tell me it was going to require an electrician but that might take a few days. I told them over the phone that I wasn't worried about timings (we're a 2-car household and can share) but I *was* worried about money, so I'd like to know what I was looking at. They said that's fine. I didn't hear anything, but a week later my car was returned to my house while I was out. When I phoned the next day to follow up, I was told the work had all been done, that the issue required a specialist part, and I owed them £280. At no point was this cost discussed with me beforehand. This is especially galling since my partner and I had been discussing whether or not to get rid of one of our cars to save costs. The indicator *has* been fixed, so the stars are for the work that was carried out, but NOT for the communication which was disappointing.

I will definitely be using this garage from now on, and will be recommending to them to family and friends. They tick all the boxes with regards looking after their customers. What I got was first class service from start to finish. They picked up my car, dropped it off 3 hours later. He explained and showed me what my my car had failed on to evidence the failure. And gave me the option of having the work completed elsewhere or they can do the. And decided the work to be completed by the M.O.T. station because after ringing round for quotes other Garages could complete with what turned out to a very fair and reasonable offer. The work was completed to a high standard and my car was delivered back to me the same day. They are very down to earth people who put me at ease from the beginning to end. And the whole experience was very convenient. My only disappointment is that I didn't know these guys before. But they will definitely get my business in future.
