   The pilot performance of the comedy night was an absolute triumph! The audience were fully engaged, responding with laughter and energy to the incredible performers.    I went to see'TheThrill of Love'based on the story of Ruth Ellis last night .It was an amazing and sensitively handled production which effectively and empathically presented the issues of love and passion ,coercive control and motivation .The characterisation was brilliant ;special applaud to Alex Severn for her role as Ruth and, to Amanda Kenyon,playing the realistic and earthy character of Sylvia Shaw . Well done to all the cast and production team for a superb production .

   There's always a warm welcome at this cosy theatre. Drinks in the bar before the play and orders ready at the interval. The standards of production are very high and all the plays are worth seeing. Highly recommend

   Always a lovely evening out! Very friendly staff. Plays all have an interval in which you can buy refreshments. Nice little bar upstairs for pre and post show drinks. Clean but dated facilities.

   My husband and I went to watch Hindle Wakes earlier tonight, and it was brilliant. :) Theatre is comfortable, the set was amazing and the bar and staff was great, (so much so, that we've already booked the next play.) If you're curious, go along. You will be pleasantly surprised, and I thoroughly recommend.
