I’ve been going to Sanctuary for years and years, I wouldn’t go anywhere else. The team are so talented and friendly, I always walk out feeling, and with my hair looking, like a million dollars. I can’t recommend the salon and the wonderful hairdressers who work there highly enough. Second to none.
Not the same as it used to be - standards have slipped The salon used to be buzzing with 5/6 staff working and a lovely professional atmosphere. Now you’re kept waiting on the sofa for 10 minutes with no apology. Hardly anyone around, except maybe a couple of people. It’s a shame as the salon easily has enough chairs to seat over 15 clients at a time! The area I was taken over to was covered in a previous persons hair and the mirrors / walls / floor need a good clean. My hairdresser was extremely blunt and uncomplimentary about my hair. Have been a client for years and sadly will now have to find somewhere else as this is not an enjoyable client experience anymore. I don’t understand why hair stylists who have left (for various reasons) haven’t been replaced / found proper cover for. Such a shame as this used to be a hidden gem of a salon but standards have certainly slipped.
I have used the Sanctuary for a number of years now and each time they continue to work their magic when colouring my hair! Huge thanks to the whole team, especially Charlotte and Maisie for my colour and trim, Laura and Sam for the chats. The Salon is a fabulous relaxing Sanctuary where the whole team provides such a warm welcome. Also, if you’re looking for beauty treatments, do check out Mel as she is also just as fabulous and friendly.
Have used Sanctuary for about 10 years, all staff work well together! I always feel comfortable there & staff treat you personally & professionally. Have never been disappointed with my hairstyles or the condition of it. A big thanks to Sam her staff especially Laura, while your there ask for Mel she has done wonders for my eyebrow shaping!
I am afraid I have had to change my review, after going for quite a while the care and professionalism went down hill. Constantly being wet at the basins, two bad cuts to the point the stylist refuted she cut it last time. Walking out the door with colour behind my ears and round my face. I won't go back. The pricing was all over the place, never the same each month, I even mentioned this and they just shrugged their shoulders. I have found a far better salon who actually care. I never let them dry my hair as they just didn't listen and having to wash my hair again when I got home was just a waste of money. If you had a colour it was a week before dye stopped running.
