We visited this garage after ringing 5 others who said they were full. We were travelling down from Scotland to Edinburgh and stayed in the Premier Inn 4 minutes down the road and had trouble with our vehicle. Not only did they check it over, but they took the time to explain exactly what was happening and were nothing but kind, courteous and understanding throughout! If we were local, I'd be taking all my vehicles there! Highly recommend, 10/10!
Can't recommend Matlock Green Garage enough. They've saved me on a number of occasions when my car has packed up, each time I've needed my car to be fixed same day due to work commitments and they've always worked hard to get it fixed as soon as possible. Car once again gave up on me today and they came and recovered it a few minutes later. Now waiting while they get it sorted for me so that I can hopefully get to work in a few hours. Great service and very helpful folk!
They came out and towed my car within the hour. The mechanic found the cause immediately. He told me roughly the cost and delivered my car back to my address once the garage had repaired the fault. Excellent helpful staff and good on price, will definitely use this garage in future.
Broke down in matlock Steve turned up within 45mins as promised took us back to Darwin forest Steve then took our car and fixed the next day he even brought the car back to us. Great service, honest on the price. Its just a pity I live in North Wales, I would use this garage all of the time. A huge thank you from Darren & Claire

Used Matlock Green Garage at short notice following a puncture at work. Despite being busy just before Christmas, they dealt with my car straight away, ordered the tyre, fitted, all within hours and all cost less than my usual garage! These guys are lifesavers, friendly and could not recommend them highly enough.
These guys are great! Really honest people! They managed to fix my car’s problem in only a few minutes, and rather then lie and rinse me for money, they were honest about how simple a fix it was an charged me nothing!! The fox was completely free of charge! And I’ve never used them before! I’m so grateful and I’ll definitely be using them in the future!
Excellent honest service. Took my car in for suspicious noise and they said no problems and didn’t try to charge me for something I didn’t need. In fact no charge! If your looking for a garage to trust, bring you car here!
