   We went to tge 2025 Panto which was great, one of the funniest I have been to. When I bought the tickets I didn't realsise that we were in the Gallery. Please.note that anyone who has vertigo will be stressed about finding their seat up there. It is very high, very steep, and very narrow steps. I was ok but wife hated getting to her seat. The view was fine and everyone around us seemed ok. It's only if you have a vertigo issue. Apart from that the Opera House is great and I love the Pantos!

   Seats in the Gallery here at Opera House, even with good accurate warnings, are never going to be luxurious for a 6'1" Northerner of relaxed build. Recent trip to the Fawlty Towers production (utterly outstanding) would bear testament to the challenge very well. Good prep (no trousers other than your 'ok I may now need to shop at M & S' comfort cut jeans) buy end of row seats or you are really going to challenged, get there early to mark your knee and elbow territory and look out for productions with good interval periods, some even with two! Overall though, there is a classic English response here of, we will make this work, people chatty and helpful about the seat gymnastics required to have all seated in something resembling an acceptable viewing poise. The theatre is beautiful, no doubt, but that comes with maintenance challenges for our modern demands, on the whole this is managed well, clean plentiful toilets but and its a big but, the signage is poor within the building. Needs updating with the floors in different colours and good sensible eyeliner positions at all junctions. Go, don't let a y of this deter-you can make it work. Good luck and enjoy.    Had a great night out at the OPERA HOUSE MANCHESTER. Brilliant performance of SLAVAS SNOW SHOW. Staff were awesome super friendly and helpfull. A big thankyou to Nicole B at the ticket office who re arranged our seating, stand out member of staff who was so nice it made our whole experience amazing. Also as we entered a big thankyou to Muhammad and the team from G4S who worked hard in the Rain and wind to ensure everyone's safety. Very professional, polite and welcoming a credit to G4S. Ticket price for the show was upto £70 per Adult for prime front seats we paid about £58 on ATG, was an ideal vantage point. The show itself was amazing funny and interactive ideal for children and adults a like as we are only a couple of months away from Christmas its a great show to get you in the mood with the 1st snow of the year in slavas blizzard. All in all great venue and an amazing show. Thankyou to all the staff, security and performers. Definitely be returning to The Opera House.

   My Visit to the Opera House Manchester My visit to the Opera House Manchester was an unforgettable cultural experience. This historic theatre, opened in 1912, is one of Manchester’s most elegant and iconic performance venues. With its beautifully restored Edwardian architecture, plush seating, and grand interior, it offers the perfect setting for musicals, concerts, ballets, and drama performances. The atmosphere inside was vibrant and welcoming. The acoustics were excellent, and the staff were friendly and well-organized, ensuring a smooth entry and interval experience. The show I attended was brilliantly produced — a true reflection of Manchester’s rich performing arts scene. Visitor Tips: Book tickets in advance through the ATG Tickets website for the best seats. Arrive at least 30 minutes early to enjoy the lobby and grab a drink at the theatre bar. Photography is usually not allowed during shows, so plan to enjoy the performance fully. How to Reach: The Opera House is located on Quay Street, Manchester M3 3HP, near Deansgate. It’s easily accessible by tram (St. Peter’s Square or Deansgate-Castlefield stops), bus, or a 10-minute walk from Manchester Oxford Road Station.    We went to see The Jersey Boys and weren't disappointed. The theatre was very comfortable and we had a great view of the stage. The staff were very friendly too. We also met some lovely people, whilst having a refreshing drink. We will go again. Fab.

   Great theatre with friendly staff. The venue plays host to the best and newest shows alongside the Palace Theatre. Last week I was lucky enough to visit to watch Mrs Doubtfire: The Musical making its UK debut, straight from Broadway. They couldn’t have picked a better place to showcase the production. First time going and definitely won’t be the last. Looking forward to my next visit!

   Cannot speak highly enough about the staff, they were all so friendly and welcoming and they really made the whole theatre experience so much better just by being there, they are such a credit to the theatre. The theatre itself is absolutely gorgeous and the sound is amazing, it's perfectly positioned near plenty of bars and taxi ranks, and the stage door is right on the street and well signposted so you don't have to spend ages hunting for it if you're like me and like to try to meet the performers afterwards!!! The only complaint I had, and it definitely wasn't just me, lots of people of all different sizes had the exact same issue, was that the seats are all about 2-3 inches too narrow and it was such a struggle to get comfortable, and/or get up! The leg room wasn't ideal either but bearable. Aside from that I couldn't have asked for a better theatre experience and will definitely be going again soon.

   If you love opera, you're gonna love this place. Every day I pass by, there are musicals or operas on the show. The only drawback is the Opera House is a little bit old in terms of interior and amenities. Or you can say it is called English heritage. :)

   Very well organised. Nice and clean. Disabled access was good. Bar drink code was adequate and refreshments were available. Excellent idea of being able to order drinks for the interim period so you could just pick them up. Toilets were superbly clean. Such a grand place to visit and experience.
