Haircut was awful, patchy, uneven, not what was requested, overpriced for a service you have to wait for. Also didn't get asked before being doused in aftershave which clung to me for hours and smelled awful.
Very hesitant to try a new barbers but thought I'd give Ali's a go due to all the good reviews. However the experience I received today wasn't very good at all. I walked in and sat down, no one said hello or greeted me. There were 2 barbers dressed in very casual clothing and trainers, one of which seemed to spend more time on his phone than actually cutting hair. I was finally called over and was actually offered a drink by the one barber which was nice, however, that's where the nice things ended. The haircut was extremely rushed and it really felt like he was trying to get me done and out as quick as possible. Then when it came to making payment, I was told I could not pay on card, even though it states on their website that they take card payments. In conclusion, I was very excited to try this barbers after looking on their website and reading all the reviews, however it was nothing like I hoped it would be, I felt quite uncomfortable the whole time, and I will definitely not be returning!
I had my sons hair cut here today for the first time and it’s definitely the best skin fade he’s had. Very professional and friendly.
This place is a hidden gem. With other barbers I have used over the years, you tend to have your favourite member of staff and you just have to hope for the best that they end up cutting your hair. With hair by Ali, they are all equally as talented as each other, so you don't mind who you get. I have always had a great cut & shave. All the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. It's a nice added bonus that they offer you a drink the second you walk in through the door. If you've not been before, give them a try. You won't be disappointed! This is how all barbers should be!

Finally found a great barbers in Lichfield after a few unsuccessful attempts elsewhere! The guys here are really friendly and welcoming. You can even get a nice, cold beer! Always leave here satisfied with my cut. Would definitely recommend.
