Kerri (Kez) works with such skill and precision and just makes the whole experience fab. She doesn't just cut hair, she styles it superbly well. Highly recommended.
Kez was great. I was a little nervous trying somewhere new as I have had some bad barber experiences with my boys but she did exactly what I asked for and my sons hair looks great. She also gave me some advice for my other son and I will be taking him back in a few weeks. Positive experience.

Just had my haircut and beard done by Kerry and I couldn’t be happier. She really took her time to make sure everything was sharp and exactly how I wanted it. You can tell she cares about her work and knows her stuff. Great chat too — made the whole experience feel relaxed and personal. Fantastic business, the casual nature of the barbers leaves a refreshing and relaxing feeling once they begin the cut. All barbers are experts, and not once have I left feeling disappointed, with my curly locks still in place and my hair full of volume. I leave a more confident man than the one that walked in. The owner of the business welcomes me with a hug, and the boy ‘Will’ massages my tender muscles as I impatiently waiting wit for my haircut. I live what some may call a somewhat lonely existence, but every two weeks the Gentry gives me a feeling of both excitement and anticipation as I run to my appointment. Any review to try and discredit this fine establishment is a sick joke and it leaves me with anger and hate. Highly recommend.
Fantastic service as always at The Gentry! Owner Tom and GM Will are very accommodating and all round nice people. Haircut is always 10/10 with a friendly, banterful environment! Reasonably priced as well! I would recommend anyone and everyone to the Gentry 5*
They only let the softest and smoothest hands cut my long locks and boy they are soft hands. So effortless and quite I often drift off to sleep with the sound of whales. Even when they wake me it’s a soft and gentle ear whisper “ your hair is done sir “. This makes my hair stand on end in eagerness for my hair to grow again so I can return. Always leave a satisfied and relieved customer.
I've been using the Gentry since it changed ownership and I wouldn't go anywhere else. The team are extremely inviting and polite every time myself and my boys step through the door. The quality of the haircuts and my beard styling is second to none and the service is brilliant. They are a credit to the local community.
Haven’t been for a while glad to see they’re opening on a Sunday so I can get there now. Glad to see standards are every bit as good as they always were. A warm welcome (I’d made an appointment so no waiting…) nice jazz music and a good quality haircut from from Amar who I’d never met before - a nice guy. Beard trim and hot towel to finish. Great experience be back soon
