Thought I’d give these guys a try after hearing some decent things, but I walked out seriously disappointed — and that’s putting it mildly. I’m sure they’ve got some good barbers in there, but the tall guy definitely isn’t one of them. Heavy-handed, didn’t listen to a word I said, and just did his own thing. He completely chopped off my fringe without even asking — no warning, no consultation, just straight in with the clippers like he was clearing a hedge. By the time he was done, I looked like Jim Carrey from Dumb and Dumber. I’ve had haircuts all over the world, and this was hands down the worst one I’ve ever had. To make matters worse, I was only back in town for a mate’s wedding and wanted a clean, fresh trim. Instead, I got home, looked in the mirror, and had no choice but to shave my head down to a number 1. Was I angry? Absolutely. But I bit my tongue, paid, and left — figuring it’s better to write this than start an argument in the shop. Seriously, if you care even slightly about your hair, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. Avoid.
Friendly barbers who give a really good quality hair cut at a reasonable price. I definitely recommend.
Called the shop today to see if they would stay open later for me as I would struggle to get there for 6pm. Without hesitation they said yes. I didn’t get there till 6.40 and still gave me the same service as I was the first customer of the day. A skin fade, beard shape up and trim, and to finish off with a hot towel all past the usual close time (nearly 8pm). A great trim, the best beard shape up I’ve had and all done with a smile. Thank you for this. What great customer service. Service like this means customers for life. Highly recommend this place.
