i have had a couple of fantastic cut and blow drys wit Kelly at David Charles Hair in the past few months. Really, Really please and she is fabulous with a fringe style!
Always a pleasure to get my hair done. Staff are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating and I always leave feeling a million dollars. My young daughter loves her trips for a children's cut and blowdry. Have done, and will continue to highly recommend!
I’ve been coming to David Charles for years and it’s a 5* every time. Always a friendly welcome, the stylists take the time to understand what I want/need and most importantly - guide me if the style or colour I’m after won’t suit me!
Been having my hair done by Ellia for just over a year now and would highly recommend her and the salon. Everyone is so lovely and welcoming.
After an issue with my usual hairdresser, I decided to try David Charles Hairdressers. They were very accommodating, allowing me to book an appointment on the same day. Upon arrival, I was greeted warmly and made to feel welcome, receiving a hair wash and massage before meeting my hairdresser. When seated, I explained the style I wanted, but I was repeatedly asked what grade I requested and whether I only wanted the sides trimmed. After 10 minutes of cutting the sides, the hairdresser asked if I was happy with the cut, implying they were finished. However, I had to remind them that I also wanted the top cut, which I had clearly stated at the beginning. Another five minutes passed before I was again asked if they had done enough, and once more, I had to ask for more to be trimmed. After 25 minutes, the hairdresser checked again if I was happy with the length before finishing up. I got the impression that the hairdresser was either not confident in cutting men’s hair or had limited experience, as they seemed extremely nervous and unsure. This is concerning for a salon that claims to offer men's cuts. Unfortunately, after getting home and showering, I noticed uneven sections where some areas were noticeably longer than others. I’ve since had to visit another hairdresser to correct these issues. The cost of the haircut was £34.75, which, quite frankly, is extortionate—whether they consider themselves a premium salon or not. It’s safe to say I will not be returning.
Ellie is great. Always does my hair exactly how I've asked and always love the results. The hairdressers itself is a little pricey but you get what you pay for. All the staff are lovely and welcoming and there's always a lovely chilled atmosphere. She also cuts my daughters hair and she's great with her.
I’ve only just starting to go to David Charles and not sure why it took me so long to go. A lady called Caroline greeted me with the most amazing smile which then led to the most amazing service. I would recommend both David Charles but also Caroline to anyone, I absolutely love going and have already booked in my next 2 appointments. Thank you for the amazing greeting, service and being so lovely to me. I feel like the old me again after not getting my hair done for a long time - thank you so much for everything especially to Caroline and also big thank you to Kelly who has also been doing my hair and is really kind like Caroline but also taken the time to talk to me and help with treating my fine hair - thank you both so much and also to a brill hair salon - Angie Middleton xxx
Started coming here about 6 months ago , Never looked back . From the moment you walk through the door you are welcomed by the owner lovely Victoria , or one of the lovely friendly staff . Kelly is my stylist which she always does a wonderful job , and always bubbly , The staff are more like friends xx Such a happy atmosphere , I look forward to going every week . Highly recommend and any of the staff are highly trained and friendly . If you want a change this is the place to go, Best decision you will make .
I have been attending David Charles Hair & Beauty Salon for almost 5 years now and I have never been anything less than thrilled with the outcome. The staff are so friendly and make you feel extremely welcome from the moment you walk through the door. They are very attentive and highly skilled, even when you don't really give them much of an idea to go on! It is always a pleasant experience having my hair done at this salon and I will continue to come back, again and again!
