I had the Signature Manicure done by Olivia, and she did a really great job. She was friendly, took her time, and made sure I was happy with the result. The scrub she used on my hands made them really soft and my nails turned out really nice. I would happily book with her again.
Terrible experience here, I booked in for builder gel to be told they dont actually build the gel out because it would need soaking off, so I dont understand why they have this as an option. I was completely put off by the conversation with a team member and actually didn't end up having my nails done. I mentioned about having them done for holiday, she told lady who was doing them to set the timer for longer on the lamp because im going away, she then proceeds to tell me that oils in suncream can affect the nails so wipe them off every time I use it and be careful, it felt like she was trying to cover there backs if they came off, it was just a very bazaar experience would not recommend
I had my nails done today in your salon (White Rose Leeds). The whole appointment lasted less than 25 minutes and it was really rushed with little care taken. The technician was obviously in a bit of a mood as talking to her was like pulling teeth! Part of the way through my nails on one hand had not set so the technician had to start again. When they were done, I left the salon and walked to my car to meet my husband. I showed him my nails and he commented on how untidy they were. I returned straight away to the salon and a different technician removed the excess gel from around the sides of my fingers. She told me that they had not been cleaned properly before I was asked to put my hands under the lights. This is my third visit over the last couple of months and I will not be returning because this time my nails are disgusting. The gel misses the sides of my nails and the gel does not go down to my cuticles. They actually look like they are growing out! I have returned home and soaked them off. I wanted my nails to look good for a garden party that we are attending. I decided to just put a clear polish on my nails for the party as the nails that were done today in your salon are scruffy. I was going to go back to the salon again before soaking them off but quite honestly I was too embarrassed to return. Plus the fact I did not have time to return again or to sit while my nails are re done. Having paid £33. I am really annoyed . What a waste of money and time!
I had a signature gel manicure and a gel pedicure. I really loved how my hands turned out as I have to keep them plain and simple for work purposes. It was a really nice manicure and my hands were very soft afterwards. The let down was the pedicure. I found that it was a nice having my toes pampered and relaxing and they felt soft after. However, I didn't realise until I got home that my baby toe was smudged on my skin and not the full nails on my toes were painted. The small hand massage at the end was really nice and the product they use smelt amazing.The price I paid for my toes for the overall finish I wouldn't pay again at all. I loved the colour I chose, just the overall all finish has let me down a bit. Had I have looked a lot more closely whilst in the salon I'd of requested them to be repainted. I am aware I have small nails but the overall finish just wasn't to the standard I expected. The lady that did my nails was lovely. I love there was no awkward small talk as it something I'm not a fan of. She was lovely and I found the atmosphere in the salon was comfortable and the staff was lovely. I'd come back for my hands just not my toes. A big mention is the fact that you can buy your own nail file and buffer for hygiene purposes which I think is really great idea as most salons use the same file on everyone which really isn't pleasant. I'd happily give a 5* for my manicure. The manicure process was nice slightly rushed. I'd of given it a 3* for overall finish.
I’ve been getting my nails done at Mint for several years now. It’s so easy to book online and I love the friendliness and creativity of the girls! The salon always has lots of new colours and finishes and some of the girls can do fab nail art too! Highly recommended. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
First time visiting Mint. Everyone I spoke to over the phone or in the salon were really friendly and helpful. Macie did my nails and she was brilliant. Very professional and accomplished. Macie was really friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I’m so pleased with the result and will definitely be back.
I had a gel manicure here, which isn’t a manicure it’s just a file and polish. They had none of the colours I wanted and the pedicure was dreadful because the colour I chose was old and gloopy. They had no thinner and offered to re paint my toes with a different colour but they seemed very moody about the fact they might have to do this. I opted just leave with the polish badly applied. The girls in here are miserable and if you dare complain they make it very obvious they just want rid. I’m sure they’ll be delighted to hear I will never be back!
Lovely staff and friendly atmosphere. I haven’t been told to review the place but I want to highlight what a lovely girl Georgina was. She did a perfect French manicure on my really short nails. Really profesional. I Can’t recommend enough. I will definitely be coming back.
Restored my faith in nail bars after mine were ruined 3 years ago by acrylics at the other White Rose place. It was quick and easy to book an appointment for under an hour's time even on a busy Saturday afternoon. Helen was sweet and chatty when wrapping my nails ready for gel removal and Iwana did a beautiful job with the new colour. It's well run, efficient, clean and organised and the atmosphere is upbeat and happy. I'll be a regular customer now!
