After an emergency appointment which led to my wisdom tooth removal, i was terrified the male dentist was brilliant! Actualy managed to get it done without my usual sedation. Day 3 and minimal pain. Thankyou fern cottage!
Amazing dental practice. 5 weeks ago one of my front crowns broke off leaving an awful jagged ‘stump’. The receptionist was very helpful and got me an emergency appointment with Marion the same day. Marion is an excellent dentist with a lovely, friendly personality. It looked like I was going to have the rest of my tooth out and a denture fitted but Marion worked miracles. She managed to temporarily cement the crown back on, then made me a false tooth until I had a new crown fitted two weeks later. I cannot thank Marion and the rest of the staff enough for everything they did for me.
I visited Fern Cottage Dental Practice for a check-up today. Receptionist was very welcoming and my appointment was on time. My dentist Marian was very professional. She answered all my questions in a friendly and approachable way. I am really happy with the appointment I had today, I will be back to this practice for my next check-up. Thank you.

WONDERFUL experience with Fern Cottage Dental Practice. Mariam and her dental nurse Debbie always greeted me with caring and respect making me feel(a very nervous and anxious patient) completely at ease and comfortable. Alway's warm and welcoming and not satisfied until I completely understood each stage of the treatment that was needed including fillings, extractions and fitting a partial denture all of which I found daunting given my lifetime fear of dentists. Patience, persistence and perseverance is what it took with each step and Mariam and Debbie come through with flying colours. My gratitude for Mariam and Debbie goes beyond words. There is no other dentist I would go to or recommend.
Just visited via a 111 emergency appointment, great service and very reassuring staff from a anxious patient, put myself on the waiting list a d can't wait to visit again, definitely put my faith back in Dentists, Thankyou
I can’t thank my dentist enough, I have been coming to fern cottage now for a few years , the staff are so friendly pleasant and so helpful, they but you at ease, my dentist Marriann, and the assistants are just marvellous, so again thank you so much to everyone,. Excellent dentist, I had bad gum problems (my own fault from being nervous and not going for years). Now I can walk in and feel good about my teeth and gums. The help and care is excellent. Just wish I had gone years ago and kept up regular appointments. Excellent dentist .
