   I've done loads of walking tours but Gareth's was one of the most engaging and interesting ones I've done. His storytelling was genuine and informative - while talking about important but darker history he was extremely respectful. He was always happy to answer any questions and added humour where appropriate which made the tour even more enjoyable! I'd highly recommend this free walking tour of Manchester!

   One of the best walking tours I have done!! Whenever we travel we try and do a walking tour to get some history and local perspective… this one, by Gareth, nailed it! We were actually going to do another tour and that guide couldn’t do it today, so Gareth showed up and said we were welcome to join him… a nice show the unity here in Manchester. Gareth’s tour was two hour of easy walking punctuated with good stories or history and culture from the Industrial Revolution to the modern age. Suitable for all ages and interests: arts, history, culture, beer, food music. There’s something in here for everyone… for me, lots of pictures as you’ll see!! Enjoy your tour we sure did!

   Did this tour today with Gareth (sorry if I spell your name wrong) and it was one of the best tours I have done. Walking the town with our guide was very eye opening to all of the history that Manchester has. Also our guide’s dog “Sausage” made my girlfriend smile the whole time. Would definitely recommend for visitors or even local.
