I only have my hair cut like once a year and Leah and Declan are like wizards. Amazing every time and always so helpful if your a complete novice in hair they will give you the best ideas. Beautiful studio that feels very bespoke. Lovely lovely salon!
This was my first time visiting, Declan did my hair and was friendly/ nice to talk to. I asked for my hair lighter, which he said isn’t possible as he didn’t have time for foils. So we agreed on making my hair look glossy and one colour overall instead, as my roots were lighter compared to the ends. I left happy, but when I got home I noticed the colour of my roots were infact even lighter than before. After a wash the colour got worse (like a ginger colour) and more noticeable. Overall, the blow dry/ cut was nice but colour is not what I asked for… I wouldn’t go again.
Declan is a wizard with a hairdryer and as a nervous person visiting the hairdressers has always shown me a warm welcome and put me at ease. He is rare in understanding and listening to what clients want from a hairstyle and I can not recommend him highly enough. The Son is well decorated with a modern vibe and they use good quality products.
The salon is beautifully decorated and both hairstylists are very polite and helpful. I always leave the salon feeling a million dollars. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone.
This was only my second visit to the salon and it was my last. On my first visit my hair was long and I asked for it to be cut to shoulder length. I was a bit apprehensive about having so much cut off but was extremely happy with it. On returning for my second visit I was seated by the owner who was going to cut my hair. She asked me how I had managed it whilst running her fingers through my hair. I told her what style I would like but hesitated when she showed me how much more hair she would need to cut off. I looked surprised only to be told by the owner that she hadn't slept for 2 days or eaten anything all day because she knew I was due to come in. I wasn't sure what she meant so I asked her and she said that on my first visit I had mentioned how much hair she was cutting off even though I had asked for it to be cut to shoulder length. I was confused and shocked and didn't really know what she was talking about. I was also embarrassed as there was another client in there. So I told her to leave it to which she apologised and said I'm not the hairdresser for you. I left the salon and burst into tears. I found my experience very unprofessional, embarrassing and traumatic...not what you expect when you go to the hair salon.
Declan and Leah are both brilliant hairdressers! Declan transformed my hair for my wedding and helped style my hair on my wedding day. They are both patient and welcoming. The salon is lovely and inviting. Everything is covid secure and cleaned down before and after your visit.
