This canal cruise was absolutely amazing and well worth the price. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The lady giving the tour was very professional and did a brilliant job explaining the history and significance of Manchester’s landmarks along the canal, all through a clear sound system. A wonderful and memorable experience for an hour—highly recommended!

Very reasonably priced, friendly staff, and options to sit inside or outside. This gave us a relaxed way to spend an hour when visiting Manchester, whilst learning a bit more about the history of that area from an angle most would miss.

I took the city river tour. Contrary to my expectations, the route was quite small, Eventhough the duration was 1hr. There was a group of individuals including kids who were talking loudly amongst themselves which made it very difficult to listen to description of the places. The crew made very little effort to ask them to keep it low. Moreover, I found the whole area/sight not that appealing. You can go if you just want to take a river cruise, but don’t expect to get to know or see a lot about Manchester.

A perfect way to beat the heat on a warm summer’s day! The cruise was excellent, with an engaging, well-spoken guide who shared plenty of interesting facts. The crew were warm and helpful, and the boarding point—right under the Millennium Footbridge by The Lowry Theatre—was clearly signposted. Great value for money, offering a chance to explore hidden corners of Manchester and Salford you wouldn’t normally see, including MediaCity, The Lowry, the Imperial War Museum North, Old Trafford, and the historic Manchester Ship Canal. Absolutely worth it!

Fantastic way to cool off on a hot summers day. The trip was excellent, very informative and clearly spoken guide. The staff were welcoming and pleasant. The boarding point was clearly signed. Great value. You also get to see art of Manchester and Salford that are otherwise inaccessible

Really enjoyed the cruise with Santa on Sunday morning. Grandchildren enjoyed all the activities and Elf Jingle n Jangle were great hosts . Santa was magic too and the added bonus of being captain was a lovely surprise x well done. Would definitely book next year x

Went with a few friends and we had the best time. A nice way to see the Salford quays with a detailed audio of the locations we pass. A good selection of hot/cold/alcoholic drinks and snacks available. Clean bathrooms on board. Lovely, attentive staff. Great value for the £10 cost. Definitely recommend and can't wait to go again.
