Took my three year old for the first time today. Sam was exceptionally kind and gentle with her and gave her the most beautiful haircut. She loves it and so do we. Thank you Sam
Went for haircut and couldn’t have left happier! I showed Sam what I was looking for and he went to work. Had a great conversation with him too since he’s a really friendly bloke. If I could give 10 starts I would! I left looking fresh and really pleased with the overall service. Sam is great and I will be back!
Unfortunately not a good experience. I have always had long layers in my hair but after having my haircut here, it came out uneven and choppy and will now have to pay more money to get it fixed. I was informed that I would receive a refund after they acknowledged it, but have not heard from them since. Wouldn’t recommend!

I never get my hair cut by strangers but I explained to him that I had never been in a hairdresser before and he was really kind . He talked me through what he was going to do step by step . My hair was really dead on the ends and I wanted it layering . He did an amazing job and my hair feels so much healthier after he finished . 10/10 would recommend for any ladies wanting a new look or for there hair to look cans feel so much healthier :)
Wouldn't recommend for balayage. Sam was great, seemed friendly and professional, gave me a good haircut and recommendations, seemed to have a good idea of what I was looking for based on my inspo pics. I came in with light blonde DIY bleached hair and said on multiple occasions I wanted a warm toned golden blonde balayage. A woman (didnt catch her name) came in to do the dye, her technique was faultless but somewhere along the line something was misinterpreted and I ended up with muddy brown greyish hair. She said I would "have to come in again for it to be darker" but at no point did I communicate wanting brown or darker hair other than a root shadow. I expressed this and a toner was washed off which improved it but I now have dark ashy blonde/light brown hair, I'm £110 down and will have to bleach my hair again to go back to blonde and try and DIY it. Came out incredibly disappointed and upset.
Just moved to Kirkstall, walked into Abbey Hairstylist without an appointment and was able to get a haircut after only a very short wait. Sam was so friendly and professional, prices are affordable, and I’m very happy with my haircut! I’ll definitely be going back!
I have 2C/3A type curly hair and I've never cut it short before, so I was quite nervous to start with. But I was recommended Abbey Hairstylist from someone I know and decided to try it out. The hairstylist first of all was very nice and made me feel comfortable. He has a lot of knowledge about all kinds of hair and kept asking and getting my opinion when he was cutting it. He cut it to the perfect length for me and my curls are bouncier than ever. It also helps in the heatwave we've been having in North England! Lastly, it's the most affordable Salon I know of in Leeds. The picture is the after cut version of my hair. Before this it used to be about 2 inches longer I think. It also only takes me about 30-40 minutes to diffuse now! Compared to the one hour plus before. I will definitely be coming here again. Thank you!
