The best there is! Have been coming here for my nails (started when it was in Bawtry) for years. All the staff are really friendly and it’s a lovely environment.
This is an honest review and isn't all negative so please read in full. When I arrived the first floor where they do nails looked lovely, love the decor style, I was asked if I had an appointment and I had booked a massage so one of the nail techs showed me where I needed to wait upstairs. My appointment was at 10.30, but noone had seen me upstaits was sat in the waiting area until 10.33 and I had to ask the lady if I was in the right place because noone had come to me to say they were going late etc. I wasn't asked to fill any forms in but I've just looked at my email and I was emailed a form to fill in but didn't see it. anyway none of this was an issue, but whilst I had time to sit and look around, the place wasn't as nicely presented as downstairs. There was thick dust on most surfaces and huge cobwebs dangling off the light fitments, there was towels on a shelf which looked like they were just thrown on there. At this point I was worried because my treatment hadn't started yet and with the communal area not being tidy etc. I didn't have high hopes for the treatment being any good either. However I was wrong, the lady that did my massage was lovely, the treatment lasted the full 30 minutes and was really good, the bed was comfy and warm, the music was relaxing, and the lady tried her best to get the knots out of my shoulders. The treatment room was also nice and seemed clean, however the floor in there was sticky. Due to the quality of the massage I received I would book again.
Had a deep tissue massage yesterday with Anna after receiving a voucher for Christmas. Best massage I’ve ever had! Anna was so nice and friendly, the massage room was relaxing, warm & smelled lovely. Anna also worked mostly on the areas i was feeling tension with firm pressure but didn’t hurt. I will definitely return for regular massages with Anna and maybe try a few other treatments. Highly recommend!
Today was my first time at Apothecary Urban Spa, I can say that the experience I had was fantastic and would highly recommend. Fantastic staff and very welcoming.
Where do I even start! What an absolute wonderful experience. I booked for my birthday for two pink boutique signature facials, they were exquisite! The ladies were so professional during the whole process, and the building itself it stunning. The ladies could not do enough for us! I was so grateful. The tea and juice was really nice too. I usually go to the centre parks spa but i will certainly be switching to this on from nkw on. Such a personal, relaxing experience. THNAK YOU! X
Downstairs was nice and people working there were very friendly, however the massage and the place it's self were underwelming. The floors were bare concrete, masseuse went over my bones a few times which hurt, both mine and my mothers massage didnt fill the entier time we were booked for (about ten minuets before and after), was told before hand that they had a waiting room to relax in but it turned out to be a couch in the reception area. For the price we probably wont be vistiting again. Just to clarify, the people working there were very nice and friendly, and they had little to do with the bad experience.

I am new to the salon after been referred to it by a friend and at first thought the staff were lovely and understanding, but after having to change my appointment due to my life commitments of training to be a Barrister and home life sometimes as we all know things get in the way and unfortunately last year in the space of 4 months we lost two of our precious dogs , so iv had to cancel two appointment with this salon and not only have I lost my deposit you have to pay but today because I had to take my puppy to the vets for the second time but lost my deposit and the amount of treatment £58.98 so in the last I think around 3 week or so lost over £100.00 due to my 18 week puppy been very poorly not sure what would have happened if it had been myself . But that has now put me off going back since we thought we were going to loose another dog , so it shows me they have no compassion at all. Not only that when I was in the other day I got told their system has no way of saving my card details as it illegal for them to do that which it is , but obliviously it does as they have e mailed me saying they have taken the money off my card . I do not mind loosing my deposit but to loose over a £100.00 for no treatment is certainty unfair and I had a very genuine reason . Sorry I do not normally do this but am so upset with my little puppy and then that the salon have no compassion only seem money originated and I have ran businesses so I understand but some things you cant possibly give 24 hours notice same as a chest infection and feeling very unwell .
