Shocking pharmacy, rude staff and prescriptions taking well over a week. Ordered through my patient access and usually should take maximum of 2 days to be dispensed. You have to phone and ask them to do your prescription then your told you have to go in, order and wait 15 mins for your prescription to be ready even though youve already ordered on the app or they could do it from a phone call. Had to walk 20 minutes to be told to come back later as they were busy and there's 1 member of staff who is extremely rude and unhelpful. Happened too many times so changed to boots on Oldham road who have your prescription ready on the same day as ordering.

My child is prescribed MIGRALEVE but only PRN (to be used only as and when needed). It is rare that I purchase this medication due to this. I went into Boots pharmacy on Mossley road after my child experienced migraine with nose bleed so I needed codeine based medication and asked for this. The lady who served me is called Debbie and she said she will only sell it me this time because she said that I am in there all the time buying codeine based medications. I corrected the lady by telling her that I am not in fact and that she must be confused with someone else where she then laughed at me which then triggered off my PTSD and I begun raising my voice and got quite upset and stressed because she was treating me like a codeine addict. I informed her that I had very recently had stress induced stoke and that I needed the medication for my child yet she stood there finding my distress all quite amusing. Security came on speaker and said everything was being recorded so I thanked him because it would only go in my favour. I have used this particular Boots pharmacy plenty of times for myself yet I have never met this woman before up until today and have never been treated like this before by any of the usual members of staff that I know have worked there along while. The level of discrimination was shocking. I told the lady that I have my meds training and have worked within the sector and know what is said and done and that it is disgusting in the way that she and only she treated me. However, the other lady who works there and has done for many years has always served me with a quality of care that all members of staff should have. I hope that there are repercussions for individuals who treat people with disrespect, discriminate and ruin it for other valued members of staff. Things really need to change!! I am also filing a complaint against her. It wasn’t a case of mistaken identity (as no doubt she will say) was just pure spitefulness and not very nice to be part off.

Twice not had a good experience with them. Some staff not very helpful. Phone lines always down, I couldn't go in and sent husband, he asked If i can have quick word over phone and she is asking him to put it on loud speaker so everyone in the shop can hear my issue? He explained i tried calling and their lines busy. She said their phone wasnt plugged in, as if that's a normal thing they do just unplug it when they feel like it. He left and went to Adams instead.

Terrible customer service and not approachable When collecting my parcel I asked if I needed could I bring it back to that particular shop to return they said I could I came to return it and they refused it , I then took it to the ashton branch 15 mins later and they accepted it , they basically couldn't be bothered to help me because it was an online purchase For a community pharmacy its terrible and I won't be using them again I chose that store because it is convenient with having a 2 year old and it's just down the road I'd rather go out of the way that feel like that

Having used the Boots pharmacy on Mossley Rd Ashton under Lyne for the past 20years, I have never received customer service as good as what I have today. Debbie and Emma - what a breath of fresh air, friendly, polite & helpful. Its always been a busy pharmacy and over the years ive spent ages standing about waiting. Today the experience was like a completely different store! They worked efficiently and professionally, keeping me informed where they were upto whilst I waited. What a great team!

Fantastic little pharmacy with a surprisingly large selection of products. The staff are all wonderful, they bend over backwards to get anything they're missing delivered next day, and I've never had a dispensing issue with them. The pharmacy waiting area is only a couple of small chairs though, so if you have any mobility issues, it's advisable to call them first to minimise any waiting period.
