Absolutely amazing service from the pharmacist! My daughter had terrible ear pain, and he saw us so swiftly. He was very kind and gentle and made both my child and I feel very relaxed throughout the consultation. I would recommend this pharmacy 1000%

Best pharmacy in Stockport. I travel around 4 miles just to use this pharmacy. Really friendly staff, always served really fast because there’s plenty of staff. Always has my partners unique prescription in stock unlike other pharmacies in Stockport. Good parking facilities nearby. Please don’t change.
Extremely frustrating said on the internet opens at 10am no such thing waiting in the cold and rain to get a prescription for an elderly lady and could not get it as they were not open rang the number no reply DO NOT TRUST THE TIMES ON THE INTERNET
I've used this pharmacy a hell of a lot over the last few years and and I've never had an issue.. it's ridiculous reading these 1star reviews when that particular person has probably used them minimally if at all and I must say, being in there quite often I see how staff are spoken to and treated I general and to be quite honest it's disgusting. These people are of course there to help you, but they're not you're PA or slave, ready to doff their cap the instant you bark. Abdul is a literal legend and I can't express fully how much he's personally helped me in very serious situations in ways I can guarantee no other pharmacist in the country would, and for that I will be for ever grateful. But tgat goes for all staff there. I'm a firm believer in putting getting what you give. Believe it or not they DO want to help you, but they'd much rather help nice people, as would we all. I'm honestly not overstating the fact that if there is a Woodley Community Award of any sort, this pharmacy and their staff must be up their in the running! Thanks guys, Dan.
Had a covid vaccination and they let me have the 'flu jab as well when I asked. Pleasent and professional lady at the door took the details. Lady who gave me the jab was friendly and professional and hardley felt the needle. Best i have had so far. She told me I could experience side effects the next day but I think Medichem Pharmacy Ltd did a great job and won't blame them even if I do feel a bit rough. It may stop me getting Covid or 'flu or reduce the symptoms at least. Well done Medichem Pharmacy Ltd.
Booked a covid vaccination, got there to be told all vaccinations were cancelled that day, walked back to the car and got the email to tell me it was cancelled, no organisation whatsoever!! I had finished work early to get to my appointment, I stopped using them as a chemist as they never had you’re full amount of tablets, now this incompetence, I will never set foot in there again.
I originally tried to post this review on the official NHS website reviews section but they rejected it with this explanation! "Unfortunately, we are unable to publish your review as, in our opinion we feel you have used words and / or phrases that could be deemed defamatory and / or libelous." think they need some spelling lessons "libellous", I changed to this pharmacy because it was conveniently situated for my Son who is my carer to collect my prescribed medications. On Friday my Doctor sent my repeat medication script to the pharmacy and on Monday morning sent a further script for another single item. My son called on the Monday afternoon to collect my medication, he does not know what medication I have except that he needs to check for on specific drug to make sure the right brand has been dispensed as in the past other pharmacies have dispensed the wrong brand. He waited forty minutes to be attended to before receiving the sealed bag of medication. He duly examined the contents before leaving the shop and discovered on this occasion this pharmacy also dispensed the wrong brand and was told they would have to order it in and he would need to call again, they failed to give him the the extra script ordered by the doctor earlier in the day. He called two days later and after another thirty minuet wait received the medication to replace the one dispensed in error but they again failed to give him the other medication (which by the way is an over the counter medication). He called again for this medication on Friday afternoon at 2pm only to be told he would have to wait 30mins until the pharmacist returned, he could not wait that length of time as his employer would not have tolerated him being late back from his lunch break. Why open the shop if prescriptions cannot be handed to the customers, See if they can get it right next time ? Updated 19 June 2022, Much better customer service today in and out in five mins, I even notice they have upgraded their printed label's "classy" very nice , thanks
