Best barber full stop!!! Always friendly, top quality and reasonably priced. Ive been visiting Lucy since she opened her shop, over 20 years ago as has my dad and now my son who is under 2yrs old. She has the best temperament with children and knows how to handle my fidgeting baby.

Lucy has cut my children's hair on many occasions. She does a great job. It's also really convenient to just drop in, rather than having to book.
My little one gets anxious and starts crying whenever I take him out for a haircut. Not with Lucy Harris though. She is very patient and does a great job of cutting his hair. The shop has a very calm and child friendly atmosphere. He's never cried and visiting here 9 years in a row now. I highly recommend her.
Found Lucy’s after a couple of disappointing male barbers in the area. I don’t think of going anywhere else now! Lucy’s a lovely woman, makes an excellent job of my hair - I don’t have a full head shave, just the sides so I was really pleased that she gave me back the straight lines the previous barber had messed up! Although there’s no appointments so you have to wait, it’s not for long as she’s so quick and adept! I recommend the shop to anyone looking for a great barber and a nice atmosphere for a price you can afford
Lucy is always a pleasure to meet and to have a chat to and great at giving advice to someone like me who has trouble deciding on what hairstyle to have ! I’ve been going to Lucy’s for nearly twenty years and if I keep hold of my hair ! I will continue to go there

Lucy is absolutely fantastic and has been consistently great for the 20 years I have been going. Never does a bad job. My mum used me as a child before I can even remember and I still go now.
Walked into Lucy's Barbers hoping to get a quick trim as she does walk-ins. I walked in and was greeted very aggressively and rudely. She didn't say hello she just stared at me and waited for me to speak. I asked politely if she had availability, to which she replied; 'who for' with only me in the shop I said 'me', Lucy then replied rudely with 'We are a barbers we only do men's hair', bearing in mind I have a 'traditionally' male hair cut (extremely short), I was going to ask for a small trim around the sides, but because she was so rude I decided to leave telling lucy I will take my money else where. Clearly this woman is either misogynistic or just simply can't cut short hair. I would have thought in 2022 a barbers wouldn't look to see what gender a person is before cutting their hair. I will not return here and would not recommend. I can guarantee this barbers will cut men's hair who have much longer hair than mine.
