   When you walk in wow, fresh coffee and fresh cakes hit your senses instantly. Place is packed and buzzing at breakfast atmosphere is vibrant placed in a bubble were to our can read , eat and drink and feel well looked after. Flat white best I've had to date and Americano all delicious. Eggs Benedict to perfection break that yolk and dive in scrumptious, delicious, excellent service had an 11am appointment and was served well within time all done in half hour only regret is I could of stopped all day. Thanks to all at Mama J's. Was eying up the big Mamma breakfast, maybe next time. Also takeaway cakes absolutely stunning lemon drizzle is my favourite and wasn't disappointed.. Thanks for the be service and food 5*****

   From the moment I walked through the door, I was genuinely impressed. I was greeted warmly as soon as I entered and seated right away, which set a great tone for the visit. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and happy to chat, creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere throughout. The coffee was excellent, and the eggs Benedict was absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend stopping by whether for a quick coffee or a sit-down bite, this place delivers both quality and great service.

   Would have gave 5/5 however downgraded for the following two reasons. First id like to say my eggs benedict was amazing, as was my flat white. Service was excellent especially as we were downstairs so could understand if it wasnt at times. What wasbt great was the smoke alarm kept beeping not far from where we sat which was annoying. I made waitress aware but wasnt sorted. Id have thought if inspectors came in that would have been a breach for health and safety. Also my Aunties eggs were overcooked. Lovley experience overall and I would have mentioned the two issues if asked to help improve but wasnt asked when paid.

   Wow! I’ve been coming to Mama J’s for the past year or two to enjoy the odd cup of coffee but today I decided to go for lunch and try some of the food out. Firstly, I discovered a new part of the cafe which has recently been renovated at the back of the building in a small courtyard but very well furnished. The space is beautiful and very peaceful. The food was impeccable and the quality of the ingredients was very impressive. I ordered a BOB from the special menu and it was to die for. Value for money and I would definitely have food there again. If I could give 6 stars I would. Thank you :)

   A little piece of heaven on Newton High Street. Wonderful coffee poured by the wonderful Baristas, a special mention to Rach, the coffee master! Wonderful offering of paninis, pie of the day and Soup of the day, not to mention the cakes! There’s always something tasty on offer at Mamma J’s. Service is brilliant. Relaxed and friendly and also humorous (humour supplied by Emily). All in all a fantastic place for a quiet coffee, a quick meet up or lunch with friends. Love visiting to have a chat with the girls.

   I have recently moved to Newton & I have to say this is my go to for coffee . The staff are so warm & welcoming , the coffee is always hot & wow the GF lemon meringue is absolutely heavenly . A lovely place to sit & relax looking forward to my next visit !

   Came today and had a Frappuccino, cappuccino, cheese and onion toastie and a lemon meringue tart! The food and drinks were gorgeous - the staff was so so lovely - they came and said hello to our dogs after they’d finished cleaning up at the end of the day. I was with my family and stayed there a while just because the atmosphere was good.

   A new favourite of mine on the High Street. I had a Chai Latte and a very delicious Sticky Orange Cake. The decoration and feel of the place is calm and homely. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. Overall, great place for a coffee, cake, and panini.
