I have been here many times before and the food was lovely so I always ignored the staff’s behaviour. However today I had a full English breakfast. Unfortunately the beans must’ve been out of date as they were looking quite bubbly and had an acidic taste. I didn’t want to cause a scene so I just made the staff aware before I left without customers hearing. I assume nothing will be done about it as it’s Boxing Day and they will close soon.

I had visited a few times before which was fine, never ever had I encountered such hostile service. The staff at the til rolled his eyes at me as I couldn’t hear what he was saying. After ordering, another staff told me in an unfriendly, frowning attitude that it will be at least 20 minutes wait. That was the point I couldn’t take it and left.

Sunday 9th November - AWFUL service by the two young blonde girls serving. They were lazy, very rude to all customers including myself and were stood around giggling and joking whilst there was a big queue of customers waiting to be served. Both of them had a shocking attitude problem. Pistachio coffee served without milk or pistachios. Management take note - find out who these two are and give them a disciplinary. Warrington branch of Jamaican blue. Worst service have ever experienced and pretty much everyone else in the store made private comments about how rude both the girls serving at the counter were.

Have been to Jamaica Blue several times in the past and loved it however won’t be returning after my visit yesterday. I was given a dirty glass for my drink, which I obviously didn’t use. I ordered a breakfast, which for some reason was brought out with a salad that I didn’t ask for? The salad was covered in vinaigrette dressing, which went all over the plate and made the bacon and sausages taste horrible. We weren’t given butter for our bread, and the bread was stale. Upon checking the menu, I realised the hash brown hadn’t been included on my breakfast. We asked the staff member, who brought out two hash browns around 3 minutes later, as you can see from the picture these were hardly cooked.

Have been here a couple of times now and as much as I want to like it, my experiences have never been positive. After convincing friends to give it a second chance, I’ve ended up embarrassed because of how bad it is. The food in the counter looks great, but there are no prices shown so you have to ask. The cakes and drinks were nice, but the food and drink is too expensive for what it is. Even compared to competitors like Starbucks. The staff vary, but have always been very young and inexperienced, with very little customer service skills or any sort of manager to lead by example. Even if the restaurant is new in town, they need better management and training, as others have mentioned. There have been errors when I have been, and I’ve had to send food back to the kitchen for example when I’ve ordered bacon and asked for it to be well done. I like the aesthetic of the place and had high hopes, but the prices and hostile environment make me wish I hadn’t bothered trying it.

We came here for breakfast, we wanted something nice and thought we would spoil ourselves. We both had eggs Benedict (They call this eggs Benny) they serve this with Bacon, mushroom or salmon (with Salmon is actually called eggs Royale). The eggs were so hard that I could have played golf with it so it was obviously microwaved and the bacon was so undercooked my wife could not eat it. Too expensive, badly cooked. This place will be closed in 6 months. £10 for eggs Benedict that was awful. I should have gone for a steak. £28 for 2 badly cooked breakfast and 2 coffees. Don’t waste your money. There’s better places than this in Warrington to have your breakfast.

Avoid, much better cafes in town. Made to pay £9.90 for 3 pancakes and a banana, after been told new menu changes even though, it says 5 for £9.90 and 3 for £6.90. Staff need a lesson in customer service as well.

The beef burger was about £13.5 but the beef was thin and dry… On the other hand, the kids pancake was ~£6 (no drinks or so, just pancake) and the portion is so large that no kid could finish. All in all, not a good value for what if offers. There are other better choices than this in GS.
