   Their customer service is unrivalled and should surely leave others hanging their heads in shame. Ordered some locks a few months ago. Never arrived. Thought hey ho here we go. But no - email from Hiatts apologising for the delay with a valid reason. Thought hey ho again. Although offered a refund thought I’d give them the benefit etc and said I would wait. Got another email a month later saying delayed again. Thought hey ho again. Offered a refund thought I’d wait. Another month passes and another email apologising saying unable to supply - again with a rather refreshing valid reason. Automatic refund issued. So impressed that they simply didn’t run off with my money AND that they kept in touch as promised, that I bought an alternative item from them. If you value honesty and outstanding customer service then look no further.

   as a Carpenter who's fitted hundreds of doors, I will never order ironmongery from Hiatt again. The handles were lovely but the quality of the latch, receivers & hinges were shocking. Spent nearly an hour trying to figure out why my doors were binding to realise the screws were proud of the hinges as they screw heads didn't fit within the counter sunk holes on the hinge itself, so when the doors were closed the screw heads on the door & door lining were hitting each other before the door was fully closed. Yes the simple solution was to use different screws, but this shouldn't have been an issue to begin with.

   I am a new customer to Hiatt and I was attracted by their great price on an item I’d seen another online seller selling for a great deal more plus Hiatt offered free shipping. Unfortunately the wrong item was sent but after a quick phone I was directed to their online contact form which I promptly completed. Their customer service team not only responded very quickly but had my correct order delivered next day. Everyone makes mistakes but it’s how you deal with it and Hiatt’s customer service team were fantastic.

   After reviewing various bought some internal black door handles. Next day they had sent me brass. I contacted the company by email which was dealt with immediately. They arranged collection of the brass ones and the black ones where their next day. I unfortunately had to go to hospital for a stay and advised my son to put the brass ones out for collection. Numpty sent my black ones back. I got back in touch with Demi who literally sorted ot again within 24hours at their cost. Fantastic quality and price and if I could give 10 stars for service I would. I will definitely buy from them again and would like to thank Demi for making my life a little bit easier.

   Never Use this company again they do not accept returns if you received faulty items they are yours, even if you send them back by paying your postage they keep the items and still won't refund you, and you end up getting the bank involved. my products were delivered back to the seller on 3rd of Feb 2023 and still waiting for the refund. now they are arguing that they will deduct the money from the refund as the items were not in the same state. For God sake come up with a good excuse. if you still would like to put your money at risk you can use them!!!!

   My experience of Hiatt Hardware was excellent service, great product and competitive pricing. I contacted them with a query about a product and got a response the next day which answered my question perfectly. I then purchased the product, and was almost immediately provided with postage tracking information which kept me up to date and then the item was delivered the day after. I hadn’t expected such a fast turn around, so wanted to write a review to reflect how good I found their customer service. The product itself was also great- just as high quality as I had seen in other places, but far better priced. I would definitely recommend Hiatt Hardware to other people.
