   We popped in yesterday morning with my parents, my three children, and our dog for breakfast to finish off my parents’ wedding weekend. All of the staff were incredibly friendly and really went out of their way to make it special for us. The food was beautiful, and the place itself is lovely and cosy — clean, fresh, and very welcoming. We couldn’t have chosen a nicer spot to end such a special weekend. Thank you

   We have spent the summer out and about on our bikes sampling 'full English' and 'Cafe on the Hill' is in our top 3 alongside Red Bank Farm Newton-le-Willows and Lucy's in Padgate Warrington. Everything was spot on and even better than the 4* Hotel in Bath we recently stayed at. Well done, we will be back.

   Absolutely excellent. Lovely food, extremely friendly and welcoming staff and not expensive at all. Easy to park directly outside & they even have home baked cookies & treats. Only just discovered today and wish we'd known about it years ago.Well worth a drive out just to visit. Hidden little gem.

   Decent location and outdoor seating make this otherwise unremarkable cafe a worthwhile stop. Overreliance on young staff and what appeared to be a tiny tiny kitchen a weak point though - it was a bit disorganised.

   As the leader of the church group mentioned I would have to say that Phil and his team made us a wonderful buffet lunch. Food was freshly made and just what we needed. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion the majority of group loved the visit the food was excellent and they were more than happy with the cost. The ladies who looked after us were excellent and they really enjoyed the visit. Just one thing I would like to correct however from the owners response we have never been thrown out of anywhere and I would hope we would be welcome back in the future.
