This has got to be the most badly managed cafe that I have ever been to and it seems to be getting worse not better. The first time that I visited I enjoyed it. The service was very slow and a number of items weren’t available, but on that occasion it was very busy, so I put it down to that. I enjoyed my coffee and panini. On the second occasion, the cafe was very quiet but the service was painfully slow. It seemed that half the items on the menu weren’t available. There was loads of staff on duty but zero organisation and a general air of disorder and chaos. Today I made the mistake of trying it for a third time. I arrived just after 12 and the cafe was virtually empty. Yet again there were unavailable items; no waffle fries, no salad! I was served the last halloumi panini with a side salad of tomatoes because they didn’t have anything else! Furthermore I asked for a serviette and was handed a piece of blue roll because they’d obviously run out of serviettes! I mean for goodness sake there’s no excuse for running out of basic items like salad and napkins! Something is going seriously wrong with the management of this cafe and the ordering of stock. They also need to employ someone decent to manage and coordinate the team on a daily basis but until then I’ll be staying away.

I’ve been to this café twice now, once when it first opened and again today and the same issues are still happening. This clearly isn’t teething problems anymore, it’s poor management. The first time I visited, I queued for around 20 minutes and several menu items were unavailable, including the waffle fries and some sandwiches. The food and drinks were okay, but nothing special. Today I came at 2pm, not even during lunch rush, and once again I queued for 20 minutes. Half the menu was unavailable again. If waffle fries are such a popular item, there’s no excuse for constantly running out. Just order more stock. I didn’t bother getting a hot drink because the backlog was so long. Staff seemed unsure of what they were doing, which made the whole place feel disorganised. The café is small, so you can hear everything going on, which makes it far from relaxing despite their motto about “pausawhile, relax and recharge.” I actually felt more stressed and just wanted to leave. They also have a table-number system, but it’s pointless when staff end up shouting your number across the café. Overall, it feels understaffed, untrained, and badly managed. These aren’t opening issues … this is a pattern that needs fixing. Stick to other cafes ….

The cafe was absolutely stunning, modern and incredibly clean. The chairs were comfy and the staff were really kind. The display of food look super delicious and they actually were. The lines were short when I came and the drink I bought, a strawberry latte, was so tasty, almost perfect. The staff lady was patient and very nice, the most polite staff member I have ever spoken to. Overall, the cafe is a great place for yummy food, perfect service, and a modern atmosphere.

Popped in here for a quick bite, before an appointment ,queued for 10 mins to be served, ordered 2 bacon baps and 2 drinks. After waiting I noticed all the people who came in after me where being served. Asked cook where my order was, she said "oh she's forgot to give the order to me". No apology just that. I asked for a refund as I couldn't wait any longer. An assistant from the store came over asking how much I'd spent, I said why dont you just add up the cost of the items. With that he went away. I waited at the counter and the cook said, you may as well sit down as he will be about 10 minutes getting the refund. I left as I could wait no longer. Last time I ever go to this cafe.

Asked for jacket potato with chilli, should have come with a salad. Plate arrived with crisps instead of salad. Initially no explanation, no apology, when questioned just said we’ve ran out of salad, so I’ve put some crisps on instead as if they were doing me a favour. I would of preferred if they had come out and apologised, offered a discount or a free drink before assuming I wanted crisps - fortunately I haven’t got an allergy but I didn’t want crisps. The chilli was actually nice but as a dish was let down.
