Turned up to have my hair cut as booked and had multiple text confirmations only to be told that the hairdresser has left so it’s cancelled. Absolute joke - the hairdresser apparently left 5 days ago and so why no one has had time to tell me. Do not go here.
I drive 50 minutes to go to Harriet for my hair colouring. Her service is amazing and her knowledge of colour is incredible. I love going here. Highly recommend.

Harriet is amazing. She has transformed my hair after only 2 visits and has given me exactly what I wanted, enhanced by her outstanding knowledge of style and colour, making it even better than I wanted!! Harriet gives amazing advice and will maintain the health of your hair without compromising on the desired outcome, its a very personal experience. I had been going to the same hairdresser for 15 years prior to Harriet so it was a scary decision for me to transition, however, I am over the moon I did and she is stuck with me now!
I’ve been going to Melissa’s Hair and Beauty since the beginning of the year. I’ve had two colours, three cuts and used two different stylists. Never have I found a hairdressers that I trust more and that saved me money. I’ve recommend Melissa’s to countless family and friends. My partner also gets his hair cut their now and feels the same as I do.
At first a lovely experience and Lauren was fabulous. But sadly for me after being there from the very beginning the last time i visited i got the new stylist,i was in the salon an extremely long time due to the colour i had done not working out at all,after over bleaching to try to rectify, my hair ended up like straw. I was told this would be put right free of charge,however the offer was never followed through. I was offered free gifts too but never got anything. I will never step foot in that salon ever again. Goes to show its all very good until it goes wrong.
