Great club. Floor is pretty good for dancing. Aircon not effective, gets really hot. Sound system can be a little unreliable. Drink reasonably priced.
First time I went to this place was for a bachata event and it was quite good but not somewhere I’d go to frequently if it wasn’t for the event having taken place there. However, I went for another bachata event earlier in November and I’ve recently been diagnosed with a dust and dust mite allergy. At this point, my symptoms were much better; however, they flared up again while I was at this event (concert + social). I looked around to see a lot of the ventilation units had loads of dust (at least what appeared to be in the dark) so, presumably, it would’ve just been in circulation everywhere. Moreover, while you can’t reasonably remove all such allergens from the environment, dust and dust mite allergies do affect a significant proportion of the population; it basically means I’m very unlikely to ever revisit the venue if I care for my health and wellbeing particularly as other places do a better job in this regard. All the more disappointing when considering the venue has an ample number of staff (at the doors, the bar, in the toilets etc.) so the fact that this aspect of cleanliness and hygiene has been neglected is just very disrespectful to customers. Also, the sound system malfunctioned part way through the night and the lighting just didn’t seem to work as well like the first time I went. Decided to leave earlier than I would have otherwise liked. All in all, pretty underwhelming and effectively harmful experience this second time around so I’m not planning to return any time soon.
There are multiple fights literally every night they open, the security do nothing about even when they have 5+ guards, police are called out to it at least every weekend nothing changes. Their staff need way more training because this place doesn't seem safe.
The management at the club is the worst. I would not recommend anyone to go to this club especially non-brits. Because the bouncers there are brutal and will not let you in once you come out of the ground floor room. They literally bashed me and put me on the floor for trying to stop them from taking out my friend when we were just requesting them to let us in after all we payed for the goddamn tickets for Bollywood night at this atrocious night club. THIS CLUB SHOULD EITHER BE BANNED FROM OPERATING OR THE MANAGEMENT SHOULD HIRE BOUNCERS WHO ARE HUMANS NOT SOME FAR RIGHTS RACIST PEOPLE WHO GETS TO CHOOSE WHO GOES IN, WHEN EVERYONE HAS EQUALLY PAID!!!!!!
I went there once for an Iranian Halloween party, and I was not satisfied at all. It was almost a disaster. The entry time was 9:30 PM, but even though I was the first in line, the doors didn’t open until 10:20 PM. It was raining, and since the line didn’t have any cover, I got a bit wet before going in, which isn’t ideal for women. People who knew the organizer were allowed to enter ahead of others without waiting in line. The upstairs space was very small for the number of people, and the ventilation was terrible, so everyone was sweating from the heat. My friends and I had a VIP table with seven seats, but they squeezed in two strangers with us, making it very cramped. When we went to dance, people without VIP tickets would sit in our seats. Our table was filled with about 20 dirty glasses; anyone passing by would leave their empty, dirty glasses on the VIP tables. The event organization was terrible, the drinks were low-quality, and the music was way too loud for the space, leaving our ears ringing for 24 hours afterward. It was not a pleasant experience, and I will definitely not be going to this club again.
Not a great club. Drinks are very expensive with staff charging varying prices for drinks for some reason? The club itself is small however does have a fun theme. Overall, this club replaced playground which was just as subpar, if you didn’t like playground you won’t like vision.
Best club in terms of music and layout but the bar staff take way too long to serve drinks and I was waiting over an hour to receive my coat from the cloakroom lol
Fantastic venue with great staff. I haven't seen a venue like this anywhere in the world. Also a nice change from every other club in Manchester, the bar prices there are not a complete rip off like everywhere else!
The new layout is so bad. The Playground layout was fine, but now there's two rooms downstairs and one upstairs and all of them are too packed to be any fun. and £10 for a double is way too expensive, especially when tickets for the club night are already £16.
