   Went here for an “event” and honestly… what a joke. First impression? Lipstick still on the wine glasses and dirt around the rim — nothing like being served an E. coli shot to set the mood. Atmosphere-wise, it’s less “bohemian lounge” and more local drama club rehearsal. Most days there’s a tight little gang of idiots welded to the bar, blocking it like it’s a siege. Add in the unmistakable aroma of staff who’ve clearly decided deodorant is a luxury item, and you’ve got a full sensory experience. Jesus. As for the so-called event space — don’t laugh too hard. It’s basically next to an empty second bar and a disabled toilet. Although calling it “disabled” is optimistic, because there are steps to get there. Accessibility? Apparently optional. All in all, it’s lipstick on dirty glasses, fake vibes, no real event space, and chaos pretending to be character. Save your time, your money, and your immune system. Just don’t bother.

   ⭐☆☆☆☆ Bohemian Lounge, Stalybridge — ah yes, the Las Vegas of local drama. Where you don’t come for a drink, you come for the soap opera. Every night’s a new episode, and the plot twists are sponsored by cheap prosecco. Got opinions? Barred. Got mental health? Barred. Got a pulse? Careful — that’s borderline. It’s less a bar, more a live-action Facebook comments section. The underage crowd gives it that youthful chaos, and management? Think “customer service” meets “episode of Jeremy Kyle.” If you enjoy watching ants, rats, and drama all in one venue — congratulations, you’ve found your safari. Five stars for entertainment value.    Went out with my kids the bar staff was messing about my nephew does go here where they where taking the micky out of him saying he's a creepy puff not good staff where also throwing stuff at each other handing out free drinks to there mates underage lads where drinking in there i had to leave as I dont want my child seeing this

   We went here because we wanted a dog friendly place (and didn't want to go to spoons) and it was an awesome idea. It was quiet for a Saturday afternoon so it's not the place if you're looking for a massive vibe but for great food and some good local beer choices this was great. The decor was nice and the food choices were really good, even though we didn't have anything.

   Turned up to a 21st birthday party to be told by the bouncer it’s 25 and over? How does that work out? Bouncer clearly very confused and not the brightest about. With us all ageing from 31 to 55 I thought being ask for I.D was a little stupid but each to their own.
