They are nice enough but they’ve been out 4-5 times (sometimes at no cost) to fix my Miele dishwasher, which isn’t draining. A different person came each time. They took out a bit of sweetcorn, replaced the drain pump (at a cost), and it still doesn’t drain. They said I need a new valve now (at another cost) - so I’ve spent over £300 and it’s still not draining. The floor is all scratched from when they pulled the dishwasher put, I’m out of pocket a few £100, and my dishwasher is still broken. I told them to forget it, baulking at yet another part fee + call out service, and I still have a broken dishwasher. No one seems to be able to fix it but they’ll happily keep coming back and charging me money (not) to fix it. It will be cheaper to buy a new dishwasher.

My wife waited in all day for the engineer, basically when he arrived, he scratched his head and told my wife that his office had not told what the job was, what the type of appliance was, or indeed what parts he would need. My pointed out to that I had sent Glotech the appliance no. The service sticker number etc. The engineer said he very sorry but thst he would have to make another appointment. My wife rang me to tell me the outcome of the visit I was out of the country at the time. I immrdiately telephoned Glotech office and complained about the shocking "service" we had received, your receptionist agreed with me and said there would be charge. I cancelled any further action by Glotech and ordered a new Microwave. The old one is on the verge oitside my house waiting for the local scrap man to pick it up. Now I am recieving threatening letters with extra charges for debt collecting with red ink on them. Reputable manufactures should distance themselves from this bunch of clowns. Avoid like the plague.

This company does not follow protocol. When an issue arises they refuse to acknowledge their responsibility and to give a refund which the client is legally entitled to. I am disappointed and will not walk away from the money they owe me. At 10.30am on one day they could not offer me a call back by 9am the following morning. This is poor customer service and I am not happy. It os stealing from the customer. The part ordered was clearly not needed as the fridge is working perfectly well without it. The assessment by the engineer was wrong. The money has to be given back.

Dishonest and unreliable. Avoid like the plague. They were booked in October to try and fix my freezer. They cancelled at short notice as the engineer was ill. I could not make the rearranged appointment, so cancelled. A week later I was at home and 2 engineers arrived. I thought, why not? They walked in the house, looked at the freezer and said that it was irreparable. They suggested a noise at the back was a broken pipe. I was surprised as the machine is less than 2 years old. The two men then refused to leave my house until I got a credit card and paid them £105. I then got a second opinion. Of course it was nonsense. The freezer was easily fixed. I have sent Glotech the report from the new company, but they are refusing to refund the money as they are suggesting that their work was 'under warranty' and I should have asked them to return to fix it. I will be taking legal action, but want to warn others of this scam.

Glotech really are a great company. I called them on a Saturday morning in a complete panic that my fridge freezer had broken . Chris was really helpful gave me a great price for a new one as I wanted a new one anyway. By Monday morning my new fridge freezer was fitted and working and the old one taken away. The delivery guys were great really professional and clean and tidy and even rang to say they were half an hour away . I can’t recommend this company more so nice to have a trustworthy local company you can rely on.

Awful company, 0 customer care. After leaving fault details on their booking system that clearly stated number model and issue. Instead of just sending a simple message or have one of their engineers calls prior their arrival. They sent an engineer out. He gave the good news and that it was cheaper to simply buy a new one rather than replace around 5 items He then went on to bill me a "Call out charge". He stated that this should have been mentioned by the sales team (Of course it wasn't). After a brief conversation with the sales team where they stated their terms of service patronisingly down the phone, which were ambiguous to say the least, and still didn't mention said call out fee (£81.50), I reluctantly paid. This process would have been 100% smoother if they actually communicated effectively with their costumers and actually cared. Rather than simply looking to exploit money through wish washy T&C's AVOID- there are tons of reputable company's out there- my own fault for not doing my do diligence. Side note the engineer was lovely and felt super awkward about the situation not his fault at all. Poor management.

My wife and I are really pleased with the help and service provided by the Glotech team at St Albans. From their knowledge in helping us to select items suitable for our new kitchen to managing of the delivery they have been exceptional. A special thanks to Sade who spent time with us in the showroom going through everything to make sure we were happy.

Don’t use. Wish I could give zero stars. Be aware this company is a pass through agent and instructs work to sub-standard shoddy third party contractors. You will pay the third party and Glotech take no responsibility for any issues or problems of their suppliers. You are not allowed to speak to the senior manager or owner, instead you must ‘email’ your complaint. Unethical and useless at accepting responsibility. 2023 guys, folk don’t want this kind of plonker and plonker service you give. Mistakes happen, that’s true and accepted , but a real sign of good customer service is how you treat someone after and resolve the matter. Nope won’t get that here. “Send an email” that’s the only advice this outfit can give. Good luck if you dare. My advice if you need something fixed contact Domestic and General and use their fixed price service, wish I had, they turned out to be cheaper and world apart for service and quality. You live and learn. I hope this review helps others.

AVOID I spent a lot of time attempting to appeal to Glotech before leaving this review as I am not in the habit of dragging companies through the dirt. However, it would appear that this company has a policy of charging its customers large amounts of money for unnecessary call-outs. My elderly mother (just under 80 and terminally ill), called Glotech regarding problems with her dishwasher and oven. Without asking the age of the appliances or capturing a valid model number, Glotech dispatched a single engineer to take a look. Ten minutes later, the engineer had established the appliances were both over 20 years old, obsolete and with no available parts. Reading the reviews here, it seems obvious that this was not a simple mistake but a convenient way to profiteer from older customers used to gentler times. Glotech presented an invoice for £175 for visit. They told me that they apply a 'call-out' charge per appliance. I pointed out that a 'call-out' charge is intended to cover travel expenses only - they responded by saying that this was 'company policy'. Needless to say that charging customers £175 for ten minutes of unnecessary work is highly profitable. And in these times when profit is king no matter how it is earned, I guess they feel this is good business. Most people would agree that mugging old ladies of £175 is offensive - how is this different? Glotech offered a goodwill payment of £60 as compensation but refused to acknowledge that its policy needed review.

What a fantastic service from start to finish. Our dishwasher broke down and Sade in sales could not have been more friendly and helpful with her advice on choosing a new one. Rob and Callum came yesterday to install the new dishwasher and despite some tricky issues, were able to problem solve on the spot, not to mention their extremely professional yet friendly service- would not hesitate to use Glotech again for any appliance issues.
