   I’ve never had an experience like this. We were pressured to place our order in October to meet the price offered to us during the sales period, receiving multiple calls and being told payment needed to be made by midday. We scrabbled to pull the funds together in time and paid. After Howdens Watford took our money, the communication stopped. We called daily and were repeatedly told someone would call back, no one ever did. For over a month there was no delivery and no measuring of our kitchen to confirm it would even fit. Our kitchen designer stopped replying to calls and emails once payment cleared. After weeks of chasing, we were then told our kitchen designer was no longer handling the design or build. Even though they had taken the measurements a month before. Once the kitchen was finally delivered after weeks of chasing and paying for storage, the washing machine we were promised was missing, despite confirmation that it was included in the paid-for order. For a kitchen costing over £10,000+, this level of service is unacceptable. Poor communication, broken promises, and missing items. I would not recommend.(Order placed Oct; branch: Howdens Watford.    We would like to give a special mention to Kishen at Howdens in Watford. He helped us design an amazing kitchen with lots of great ideas and really took our needs and specifications on board. He was always happy to change things multiple times as we came up with new ideas and also made some brilliant suggestions which meant we are now having a bigger island with more storage space. Really pleased with the whole experience

   Absolutely superb service from start to finish. Had help in designing the kitchen by Chan who was so very patient and helpful, super chap. The manager James greeted us every time we popped in and was more than accommodating, the sort of happy, efficient manager every store should have. Also thanks to Yvonne in the office who made sure our phone calls and questions were dealt with, brilliant lady!Cannot thank Howdens, Watford enough for the service, help and support they gave us, what a team they are! Thank you to all the staff for our kitchen, one word - Brilliant!

   One star as my experience with the kitchen designer from this location could not be classed as professional, far from it and that includes the branch manager. It's a shame as the assistant manager and I'm sure other employees at this location do a good job. So, in short I would not recommend Howdens at Tolpits lane.

   Needed a cupboard door. My money wasn't good enough here. However B&Q Watford appreciated my business and their customer service was great too. I highly recommend B&Q in Watford!!

   I had a very good experience with Howdens Watford. The kitchen units were excellent value, delivery was on time and the design by Alex Worland was perfect. He was also most helpful in introducing me to a very good fitter. There were a few snagging issues that Alex helped resolve without question. I would highly recommend Howdens Watford for the first class all-round service they provide. Lyle Aitken
