Attended an engagement party here. Had a cocktail and it was spot on. Cool decor and layout. Parking difficult or expensive nearby.
Super little bar. Great cocktails which are a really good price (especially for Manchester). Bar staff very cool and music is a good mix of stuff.
Doormen was very friendly. The bar staff Red haired woman in particular covered in tattoos, needs to find a new career as she was very rude. The atmosphere was ok still the music was kool.
Hidden gem of Manchester: it’s a cool hidden away bar that offers great cocktails in a unique spot. I had a rum cocktail that was served on fire so both the presentation and quality was immense. Nice time I’m in Manchester I’m definitely coming back to the Liar’s Club.
Came across this bar after having dinner next door and it houses over 100 different rums which the staff (especially James) were very helpful and knowledgable about. If you’re into rum, a beautiful “beach” location and incredible staff make sure you come down and keep an eye out for their new menu and make sure you ask James to help you choose a drink if you’re unsure ;) Also highly recommend trying the best rum on the bar Monymusk 2010, definitely worth the price point if Rum is your drink of choice!
Great drinks, well informed and courteous staff! The drinks are truly delicious, well worth the money! This review would be a five star, if it wasn't for the overly loud blaring reggae music being played over the sound system. It's a tiki bar, it's there for chill and social. You can't social when you can't hear each other over the music :p Won't stop me coming back, but perhaps some thought can be put into knocking the volume down a bit. Or at least get someone to lower the high end/treble so it's less painful on the ears :)
They have the most amazing rum selection. I still cannot get over the fact they also stock Don Q rum. The staff are lovely and the music is great. One of my favourite bars in Manchester.
