Broken website. When i tried to buy an item in store, I was ignored by 3 staff members when I asked for help. Not the brightest way to run a business, I'll spend my money at a competitor

Easy to get to the store, with good parking. Visited to collect an online order during lunch break, and was pleased to find it quiet. Took a bit longer than expected for them to find my order (a 40" TV), but it was painless only needing payment card details for them to release it to me. Would happily use them again.

Curryβs Hanworth 1. One star because it is just about the only shop where you can physically see and touch a product before buying it. Butβ¦ 2.Unwilling to accommodate customers with hearing sensitivity 3. Bafflingly incompetent when it comes to data protection I bought an HP Omnia online. From the start I had warnings that the HP warranty was due to expire. After numerous, frustrating calls to both HP and Currys, they assured me it was a new laptop and the warranty issue was due to the shop registration at time of receipt into stock - ??? But that I have a full warranty with Currys. Well 3 months in, the camera stopped working. After troubleshooting myself, I called tech support who was really helpful and friendly. He advised me that I need to take it to the nearest shop as it is a hardware fault. Well - that is where the real pain started. The shop had loud music blaring and customers at the till next to the tech desk shouting to be heard over the din. I asked if there was a quieter spot where we could talk as I could not hear him and was getting panicked. I was told no. After what felt like an hour, I was asked to supply the laptop password - my mistake for not realizing I needed to wipe the laptop - but the incredulous thing was that the staff told me βItβs okay. Nobody would look at your personal files!!!β Seriously? What sort of cyber security does Currys have if their support staff do not know the basics? Needless to say I declined and took the laptop home to wipe and take to a different store. Currys Brentford A completely different experience. The music was quieter and the support desk was away from the speakers. The assistant was knowledgeable and professional. Cannot be more different from Hanworth.

I had a very frustrating experience at Currys. I recently bought a TV that one of the staff recommended. When I took it home, I realised it was slightly too big for my space. The very next day I returned it, completely unused and never even plugged into the mains. To my surprise, the manager refused to accept the return simply because the box had been opened. I explained honestly that the TV had not been used at all, but they still refused. The managerβs attitude was extremely rude and dismissive. What annoyed me the most is that I could have easily lied and said the TV was faulty, and then they would have had to take it back. I chose to be honest, but clearly, honesty doesnβt pay with this manager. Next time, I wonβt bother being truthful. I expected much better service and respect from such a big retailer.

The manager beginning with the letter J was exceptionally rude and dismissive. I wouldnβt go in, I would go online instead. Even when I was on the phone to customer service in the store he was rude to them as wellβ¦Then proceeded to walk away from a discussion and said βIβm not repeating myselfβ. Lack of manners, shocking.

Wanted a new washing machine in a hurry over the festive season. Got a new one delivered on the 28th of December 2 days later. Old one taken away and new one fitted and tested. Good service.

Never stocks anything. Went to purchase a monitor to make home working a little more comfortable. A vast array of monitors on display. Only two in stock - the cheap and nasty one and an enormous Β£500 one. I wasn't asking a lot - any old 27" monitor for less than Β£250. Should've had a decent choice for that amount. Instead I came away with the cheap 24" one.

I decided to visit the store in person as the last time l bought a dryer online l had ordered a really small one! A member of staff greeted me as l arrived, the store was quiet. I explained what l was looking for as l had a specific idea of what l wanted and so bought a washing machine and also a dryer. I decided to go for all the extras, re; insurance and yearly maintenance. My machines are going to arrive on Wednesday. But generally my experience of buying was a positive one, though l did spend quite a bit. Hopefully the investment will be worthwhile. I am sure l will update the experience of having the machines delivered and fitted.
