    Normally you cannot find much variety at this shop. If you need something quick and cheaper opt for Amazon. Also, the shop normally closes before the time adverted on the door.

    My experience describes an online order. I will leave the review here as their customer service are absolutely disappointing. I have purchased one of their premium parasols at £566.99 in July 2024. Delivery was extremely late and only arrived beginning of September 2024 so we did not use it at all at that time as summer was over already. We used the parasol in April 2025 for the first time and amazingly the top solar panel came off and left a huge hole in the parasol on the first use!!! I emailed Robert Dyas to ask for a solution. A customer service person called and asked security questions which was absolutely annoying given that they called me on the phone number of the order, I did not call them. They decided to hung up on me after I challenged their illogical and time wasting security procedures. Eventually they sent an email asking me to choose from some options: replacement, refund, repair. After I have chosen the preferred option they replied saying that there is nothing they can do as the fault was reported after 30 days of purchase. However, under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the goods should be of a good quality and last for a long time especially an item that should be of top quality and high price point. They are trying to go against the law because the 30 days have passed. They deserve 0 stars for even trying this and they deserve being taken to court for trying to take advantage of honest customers that have paid a fortune to get a low quality item that is not fit for purpose. Will absolutely avoid, never again.

    Went last Thursday to return a floor standing cooler delivered to my house - unopened, as I no longer needed it. Upon entering the store, the staff members at the entrance and the till were both frowning at me. No ‘hello, how can I help’ attitude. They said their manager would do the refund. The manager, slim lady with blond/light brown bob, slightly wavy haircut reluctantly started the process. The receipt in the packaging didn’t have my card details (poor Robert Dyas systems) hence I showed her my email containing the payment details and bank statement on my phone confirming that the transaction was from the debit card I had in my hand. She looked at my disbelievingly and said ‘ok if that’s really the card you paid with as you say you did’ twice as if I was a liar?!?! Then - it gets even better, as she still treated my like a liar and she asked for a signature to match that on the card. Funnily enough I had another card but on that too, the ball point pen signature had faded. I tried to argue that both are my own cards (incredulous I know!) - she reluctantly processed the refund on the card machine. I requested a receipt from the machine as proof that the transaction had happened, she insisted that it wasn’t needed, couldn’t be provided and was in the piece of paper that came inside my package (?!?) - I had to stand my ground and mentioned that for EVERY online purchase instore refund transaction a receipt is always provided from the card machine therefore it had to be given to me. She insisted I wasn’t wrong when after a while her and her till colleague realised that the refund receipt was stuck in the printer of the card machine (?!) and gave it to me. Absolutely APPALLING and DISGUSTING experience from unwelcoming staff and a CLUELESS manager who doesn’t know how to do her job - needless to say all of the staff present in the store that day and their attitude suggested that they were in DIRE need of ED&I training. Will be taking this further with the head office. AVOID at all costs!!!

    Their really great staff in there, as I'm on a mobility scooter the staff ask as soon as I go through the door if they can help, so I just ask for what I'm looking for and they go off and find it and bring options for me to choose from which is nice so I'm still making the choice! Would definitely recommend this shop as a great place for disabled person to shop, it nice a quite to early mornings so if you are going there to have a look around it's easier up to about 10.30am most days.
